Already making 5M/yr. Top coaches get 8M/yr. My guess is 8-8.5/yr X 5 years with one option yr.

Ok, I'm 99 percent sure Garrett stays, so how long of a contract should we offer him? and how much a year? I think Callahan leaves, Linehan and Marinelli stay just for the record.

I would say 4 years 24 million.

pretty much he stays , its a lock.. 5 years 25Mill

I don't care. The money does not count against the cap. Jerry can give him 100M for all I care about Jerry's money.

the majority here think it will be 5 million a year, I think you guys are in for a real shock. If Red is as smart as i think he is, he should command 6-7 jmo

The real answer is, whatever Garrett wants Garrett will get. Jones will pay anything to win a Super Bowl, since he can't spend it on the players anymore he will spend it on the coaches. Money is nothing to him.

I wouldn't be surprised he got more than 5 million. Maybe around 7-8 is what I would be speculating. If thats the case I hope Jerry pays coaching wages to the assistance. Judging from what Stephen Jones said, they are going to make that a priority especially with Marinelli.

Noticing that the talk on Linehan has remained really quiet. So I believe he's already a sure thing to become our OC.

Given Jerry's age this may be the last coaching contract he negotiates.

Ironic how, in a way, Garrett is holding the cards here when many thought this could have been his last year as a HC ANYWHERE, at the start of the season.

Crazy world we live in.

I hope not. Rather have Todd Bowles in here to fix this defense.

No thanks.

You went through 3-4 years of him learning on the job. Patience is finally paying off and you're going to go through ANOTHER coaching change? At least let him ride it out with Romo & Witten and go from there. Making massive changes at this point in Romo's career is a bad idea. New OC, new offense. We've seen enough of that in the past.

We should offer him the door, but something like 6 mil per sounds fine. He's not one of the best coaches in the league and shouldn't be paid like one. Really doesn't matter though, not like it counts against the cap.

Coaches are like players. Clowney is no where near being a top defensive player in the league, but he is paid like one. Garrett I think gets 6M a year.
