I'm surprised it took until July 14th for you to post this.
Ok you’re referencing heroine addicts and much harsher drugs then I’m eluding to. You can be addicted to painkillers, weed, alcohol…doesn’t necessarily mean you’re murderer or will lol.Interesting view...... except for the fact that this 'addiction' won't cause you you murder or steal, won't get you locked up in prison, and won't cause you to end up dead with a needle stuck in your arm while your fellow addicts rummage through your pockets trying to find the remaining stash you might have left over.
But yes, I get the meaning.
It's still possible that many of the die hards will outlive the Jones administration. Maybe Stephen Jr. will sell.Longtime fans like myself are losing interest, and even those in football who were once associated with the great Cowboys teams of the past are slowly disappearing.
Fans who were old enough to enjoy the success of the early nineties are also getting older.
But the fanbase of children who have never known how good this Cowboys franchise once was is Jerry's legacy. And it will not be as strong as the fans that made this "America's Team".
Most of us older fans are fed up. We KNOW how bad it has gotten because we witnessed the teams that made this franchise great.
Jerry's circus hype is not selling anymore. His arrogance in kicking the fans in the teeth as he insisted on shoving incompetence in players and coaches down the throats of the very fans that made this franchise the most loved franchise in sports is finally catching up with him.
That $260 million abomination of a contract he slipped to his latest pet player and that he tried to pass off with the hoopla from last years opening day is the poison pill that finished off most long-time fans.
I don't think these Cowboys will enjoy the fan support this season that they have in the past.
The charade is almost over.
Yet record attendance and the value of the franchise keeps going up and they have 3 of the top 20 jersey sales in NFL. Cowboys were on national TV 17 weeks last year with 5 prime time games. The Cowboys are still a draw. The hype is still working with a few of the usual suspects, but those numbers are becoming fewer as each year passes.
Maybe I was being a little dramatic?Ok you’re referencing heroine addicts and much harsher drugs then I’m eluding to. You can be addicted to painkillers, weed, alcohol…doesn’t necessarily mean you’re murderer or will lol.
You just described how I feel! I understand that a SB is so hard to achieve and especially without an elite QB and good defense. But how about chasing an elite QB and stop paying mediocre players like they are elite. I don't care what the market says about next man up. Gotta let mediocre players walk. And when you pay Dak with that first contract and he doesn't get it done. Why give him another contract? They just don't even try and I'm fed up with the team and organization. I still like playera like Lamb, Parsons, Ferguson and others but Dak needs to go.Longtime fans like myself are losing interest, and even those in football who were once associated with the great Cowboys teams of the past are slowly disappearing.

If you are losing interest and don't care, quit posting and find something else to do because it sure looks like you have interest when you are posting here.. you started off well and then turned it into a disguised Dak thread and went off the rails. why? because you have Dak on our mind 365x24x60x60. you can't eat, sleep, sit or do anything without thinking about Dak for 1 second.Longtime fans like myself are losing interest, and even those in football who were once associated with the great Cowboys teams of the past are slowly disappearing.

Because he can’t lol. It sounds all good to say you are quitting…but they don’t actually quit. Then they justify it by saying they don’t purchase anything or their ratings don’t count….as if the engagement doesn’t help.If you are losing interest and don't care, quit posting and find something else to do because it sure looks like you have interest when you are posting here.. whose priorities? Jerry's priorities is to increase market share and Cowboys value. he has succeeded in doing that. superbowls are irrelevant if its already working and maximizing profits. don't mistake your or my priorities with Jerry's priorities. they are not one and the same.So you're more pleased that the fan club is growing in numbers while the product on the field is ignored? The product on the field and the people who represented that product (Staubach, etc) is why we all became fans, am I wrong?
Seems like priorities need to be rearranged.
oh, he has been saying, he is quitting since early 2000s....Because he can’t lol. It sounds all good to say you are quitting…but they don’t actually quit. Then they justify it by saying they don’t purchase anything or their ratings don’t count….as if the engagement doesn’t help.
I have zero interest in this franchise, except to watch it fall and see how big the fallout will be.So when will you stop posting?
You have zero interest in the Cowboys. You have one agenda here. And we all know what that is.
Fans have not lost interest, nor the media, nor TV wanting to show them nationally.
Fans are frustrated, yes. But they have not lost interest. Why else would that same fans on here, post the same frustrations over and over and over. Just like some will post what they see as good things, over and over and over.
If fans lost interest. No one would be talking about them. No matter how bad fans perceive their team to be. Merchandise sales will still happen. WHY? Because the are fans. And there will always be fans, there will always be new fans.
Even all the 1-15 teams, 2-14 teams, year after year retain their frustrated fans.
Live with it.
Attendance? That's the proof we can't dispute to say interest is waning?Nothing fixes complacency like winning. Record attendance is something the Cowboys are known for so that suggests the interest in the Cowboys is still there. You can't dispute the attendance records...

They’re always whining about something. What can we be offended about today?!
Then why come in here, just to troll. That is it.I have zero interest in this franchise, except to watch it fall and see how big the fallout will be.
Corruption reigns throughout the NFL and with the Cowboys falling it will have a domino effect on the league.
So really I am watching to see how far the league will go to stabilize the franchise. Much like the games vs the Detroit Lions of the past two years and vs the Texans from Lovie Smith's final season- and a couple of others- it became pretty clear that the NFL was willing to intervene to keep the Cowboys relevant.
And that's when the Anti-trust lawsuits begin.

You are not a fan, and this statement proves it.
