Actually, I think it will be the offensive line and not the receivers that will contribute to a breakout year for Jarwin. At least starting out, Dak is going to need a safety valve and that should be Jarwin.

I think Jarwin has the potential to be another Jay Novacek, another TE that was more a TE/WR tweener. The Cowboys always had that bigger more physical blocking TE when they felt Novacek might be a liability on certain plays, although he learned to be a decent blocker.

Jarwin can get downfield, beyond the 2nd level so he can run well with the ball, 5-7 catches a game can add up. I actually see only two players get over a thousand yards this season and I believe one of them will be Jarwin.

Or we go w/ a lot of 3 WR sets and Bell plays a lot because he's the best blocking TE in the NFL and Jarwin gets about 40 catches because we're stacked and there's only so many catches to go around.

i didnt draft him but hes a FA...might not be a bad stash as a bye week / injury stand in....he definitely has upside compared to a lot of the guys that are FA's....i ended up with Gronk and hope he stays healthy but BJ certainly isnt a bad grab in this offense and if you need someone with upside.

Jarwin went fairly early in all my drafts,, he was ranked TE 14 by the gurus, but I have seen him as high as 9 right behind Tyler Higbee.

4ht/5th options are rarely gotten to. Mostly, the QB throws to the 1st or 2nd option.

Cooper, Gallup, Lamb, Zeke, Pollard
I do expect him to have a good year relative to his targets

The point is that he probably won't have big stats as the 4th or 5th option.

He should have a better yards/catch stat, but his overall stats will likely be lower than they would have if he was used like Witten back when Romo was the QB.
