Again people. It's not about winning a preseason game. It's about playing together....playing with passion. I'm not saying that the season is over. I'm saying we are too talented to play like this, regardless of preseason or what. And it all starts with the HC. The penalties are nothing new. We had them all last year also. By the way.....I don't care what the records were in the preseason in the past.....I want to see progress...and to me...we look the same. And if you remember last January.....that wasn't good enough!

Now go out there and CLEAN THIS CRAP UP!

Didn't say everything is fine. I DO want to see improvement. However, at this time, we have to keep in mind that the coaches are expiermenting wi th a lot of different personnel packages, schemes, etc.... while at the same time trying to findout what they have in the rookies, and other players who haven't had enough playing time yet. We were also without Spencer, Burnnett, Tnew, and lost Canty early in the game.

I am concerned about penalties and the recent injyry bug, but i'm not ready to be stressed out about much else.................yet.

Ok we know it's preseason, and nothing counts. Everybody is vanilla. No gameplanning. Yadda yadda yadda!

But to me we look like a team with no direction. It reminds me so much of December it's not even funny. I could care less if we win or lose a preaseason game. IMO we look like a team that thinks we can just turn it on come Cleveland. Wade needs to have a come to Jesus meeting with this team. I see NO passion from anyone other than Witten and Zach. I KNOW PEOPLE IT'S PRESEASON, but for the love of God at least play like you want to!

The ho hum attitude of Wade is wearing out it's welcome for me. Don't get me wrong...I still like Wade as a coach.....but I get real nervous when I think back to his comments after the Giants game last year, and that they are last years champions, etc. He's always been a great D coordinator....but has he ever shown that he is a really good head coach?

This is not an over reaction. It's something that has me real worried as fan. Hey, give me a break I don't want my Fall ruined!

We just seem to think we are entitled to something. Like last December after the Green Bay game we shut it down and thought we could just turn it on come Jaunary.

If you think about it......we've been watching the same football since last December......straight through preseason. Penalties..(I guess those are on Wade since mistakes are on him) Poor tackling, bad coverage, etc.

Give me a break..... I just want to see the team we all think it can be. And, selfishly want to be entertained.....even if it is only preseason.

those days are over by the way. You cant bring 120 guys to camp and beat the hell out of the botom 50 guys to prove a point to the top 45. Just cant do it anymore.

It's preseason...seems like last year the mighty Texans beat us with our starters going 3 quarters and that did nothing to define our season.
Relax take a deep breath and everything will be fine.
There were 3 bad calls in this game but I am not going to worry about the penalties in this game...its preseason.
This is the second straight game we saw some good things from our rookies.
Thats what I am taking from this game...along with Austin's performance.

I agree with the OP, to some extent. Yes, we all know these games are meaningless pre-season games. The final score does not matter. However, they're meaningless pre-season games for all 32 teams, not just us. Yes, there were some terrible calls by the officials last night, but we still look like a very undisciplined team. That cost us dearly last year and we should have addressed those issues by now. We all know we have Super Bowl caliber talent, but we have to become a Super Bowl caliber TEAM. We aren't there yet. These games, while meaningless, are dress rehersals for the real season. So far, we haven't learned our lines. Hopefully the last two games will be different, regardless whether we're on top score wise at the end of those two games. We've got some work to do, but I still think we're on our way to the Super Bowl this February.

Not going to worry about the penalties in this game??? It would be different if they were all from Lowber, Amendola, etc., but they are all from Starters Columbo, Bradie, and Flo. They are drive killers, just like Romo said, and they are the same culprits from last year. What makes you think they will clean it up or have changed? It's starting to look like a trend.

Yeah, preseason games means squat, just like the game at Fedex last year was meaningless? There is no such thing as a meaningless game. Preseason games might not count towards your record, and games where you have already clinched homefield are irrelevant in regards to playoff seeding, but they are not meaningless.
