the Cowboys were'nt an established team until 1960.They were the Dallas Texans,and they moved to Kansas City to become the Kansas City Chiefs.So........you havent been a Cowboys fan since 1957.

Ok. a little history for you aswell. The NFL Dallas Texans folded in 1952 (the teams only season) and would become the Baltimore Colts. The 1960 season brought the AFL (American Football League) and its Dallas entry which just happened to be named Texans. The NFL return to Dallas as well in 1960 with the Cowboys franchise. After the 1962 season, the Texans left for Kansas City to become the Chiefs.
