It's not bad enough we're facing the Broncos.

First of all I could care less if you answer any of my questions. I honestly hope it irritates the hell out of the people it does. If I have to explain to you why using a stage to promote ANY charitable cause is a good thing I'm already wasting my breath.
Maybe whoever started it had someone pass away from breast cancer. It's not your stage to use. Nobody cares if it doesn't resonate with you. The fact that your insulted that a charitable cause doesn't directly relate to you is the craziest, selfish thing I've ever heard and I feel bad for you.

who decides which is more important, in my eyes...children are? But RS makes the most sense, Why on this stage and why just breast cancer? Answer those and ill answer yours.

I'm all for the NFL helping to fight cancer. All cancer. Off the field. I think it's a great thing. As popular as the league is they can generate a lot of financial help to the ACS.

Also I'm not 100% sure and I could be wrong. But since the NFL is setup as a nonprofit organization so they don't pay taxes I believe they have to be involved in charities and donate. That could also be why they have taken up a lot of Breast Cancer awareness month.

I wouldn't hold my breath. If they do another I'd bet on ovarian cancer. If you follow my train of thought here.

It's not called national cancer awareness month. It's called breast cancer awareness month. Sheesh

They auction off the "pink" and from my understanding anything that is purchased during this month that is for breast cancer awareness all proceeds go to charity. I can't believe how this bothers people I am so amazed that in life this bothers you people so much. Man I wish I had some of your lives because if this is all you have to worry about then you are doing very well. Smh

Yes some people have different views than you. It's not amazing. They listed valid points.

Valid? It's national breast cancer awareness month not national cancer month. The NFL is a nonprofit organization they have to be involved in charities and donate and since they are nationally televised they use it as a platform to do just that. I would suggest if people have an issue with it don't watch it. Because obviously it's just too much for them. Maybe they shouldn't celebrate Salvation Army stuff next month or give to the military why give to any charity? It just gets in the way of a game. Stupid

I gave up. It's just negative people looking for any reason to crap on anything positive. Inability to empathize.

Every thread is like that now and it's such a shame. Every thread is negative and pathetic. These same posters troll thread to thread tearing anything and everything down. Just look for yourself.

Sorry to interrupt everyone's constant crying about the o line. Guess that looks good now so let's cry that players wearing pink. Who cares. Don't donate. If your upset you have to look at pink you need a shrink

It's pretty obvious that the NFL has gone "all-in" on Breast Cancer Awareness as a clever PR ploy to attract female viewers.

I mean, really... 25% of every NFL regular season has now officially been doused in pink because of ONE deadly form of cancer. Twenty-five percent!!!

Whether or not you're okay with that is up to you. But at the very least, don't be so naive to think that there's no ulterior motive.

So tired of "I don't like the pink" or "they should only do it one week". It's breast cancer awareness MONTH. I think the pink is awesome.

I support it without the color pink (my preference). Red, White, and Blue for me.

Sure there is motive

1. Nonprofit organization having to donate
2. Growing their viewer size and what's left? Obviously chicks.

Listen it's a brilliant PR move that pays off in many directions for many people and the NFL. But to discount because people are "annoyed" about the pink is just foolish. Just looking for something else to complain about now. The oline doesn't matter anymore since they are top 10 now.

I agree with the bold. I don't like looking at the pink and I'm sure many others are with me on that, but Roger Goodell would tell me that's a small price to pay for all the benefits (to the ACS and to the NFL) that come with it and I'd have a hard time arguing against that.

I'm all for breast cancer awareness...but when/how did the American Cancer Society decide the other folks with other types of cancer don't count? And that the fight for cancer is gendered?

I know that isn't necessarily how the research internally is conducted...but the messaging is a bit perverse, imo.

Look up the top ten killers of women and you'll understand. Actually you don't have to look very far down the list. Breast and colon cancers are generally preventable. So are some others.

Yeah, apparently breast cancer is more important than the others.

It has no place on the football field but it's just not politically correct enough for people to say it.

Thank you for that statement. I'm sick of politically correct in general.
