Nah, they will win just enough to finish in no man‘s land. No playoffs and a garbage pick, so much better than tanking tho right blind homers? Jerry loves you, never forget that.

The playoffs essentially started two games ago against Washington and we've aced both tests. We were unstoppable.

You could say tonight is the Championship game if you look at it that way.

Buccaneers have a good offense, but their defense sucks so I’ll be up to Cooper rush.

Do you mean the franchise will never recapture any remaining respect? You are your own best example of lost respect for the franchise for not doing what you want.

That invites a specific question. Will the franchise ever regain your respect lost due to its dedication for a single player? If so, how could that happen? It would read as a contradiction.
It's not about just one player.
Jimmy Johnson built probably the best team in NFL history, then Jerry wanted all of the credit.
He took over and after Barry Switzer flamed out Jerry shoved Chan Gailey and Dave Campo down the fans throats. Then it was Quincy Carter. Then Marion Barber Jr and Jason Garrett.
Now it's Dak.
Jerry has taken the fans for granted for too long, and we're fed up with his act.
By the time the Prescott era is over, the fans that were his base will be done.
There won't be anything left to rebuild; all of the greatness that the Cowboys personified won't even be a memory.
America's Team will be gone forever.

The Cowboys chances of making the playoffs as things currently stands are still really low. Them even reaching the Super Bowl would literally mean they would have to make NFL history, since it would take an historic, unprecedented type of run for a team to go from 3-5, all the way to winning the Super Bowl. There's a reason why teams who are below ..500 in December don't win Super Bowls. And usually don't make the playoffs.

Any game left up to Cooper Rush and we won’t win another game. To win with him it takes a running game and a solid defensive performance. It also usually takes a defensive or special teams score. A lot of things have to go our way to win with him.

It's all on Cooper at this point. Do I expect him to pull it off? Probably not. It's a tough road at this point. His arm got tired last time he started this many games.
Do I expect him to single-handedly win games for us? of course not. I never expected that of Dak.
Do I expect him to not turn the ball over and not make poor throws on 3rd down, losing games for us, absolutely? Not like Dak.
Rush plays well. I expect a 3- 2 finish, poorly. I expect a 2-3 at best.
I don't expect the playoffs. The damage is done.

The Cowboys have to win every game to get into the playoffs, and every playoff game to advance to and win the Super Bowl.
And that's fair.
If the Cowboys want to be a contender, they should be able to win every game left on their schedule. If they can't do that they don't deserve to be in the playoffs.
After all, the goal is to be the best team in the NFL. Being in the top five just means you were okay; the top ten means less.
The Cowboys should expect to win out.
Moral victories don't count. It's professional football; and there is no "next year" to wait for. Jerry destroyed the Cowboys future hopes by signing Dak to that four year deal.
It's now or never for the Cowboys and their fans.
Its never - why are you holding out hope just for this group to continue to dissappoint you?

Doesn’t seem impossible it’s just that the Commanders only have to go 2-2 right? Or like Atlanta only has to go 2-2

We were never that good this season. No reason for us to expect it now. We were 3-7. There's a reason for that. The Cowboys are a bad football team. Bad football teams do not compete for super bowls.

Take your pick. There are 7 teams ahead of us. We'd have to win out, and hope Washington goes 2-2. That means beating the Eagles. I don't see us beating the Bengals.

If it's even possible to get in with 9 wins, the chances of it happening are so remote it's not worth entertaining.

I don't expect much, but I know they are capable of winning.
It's just an unexpected treat to get to see them play the way they are capable of playing rather than it being the "Dak Prescott" show.

Nope. It’ll be up to Cooper Rush or we lose. we don’t have a running game, we don’t have a defense that can stop the run. I don’t expect to win. Because Cooper Rush doesn’t have it. What is it, the it factor

If it’s up to him to carry the team then we’re losing.
Exactly . You must have excellent Internet service, to get the response that fast. I have a gigabyte and I don’t get it that fast.

You have made a solid, counterargument for your prediction not coming true. An NFL franchise does not exist inside a bubble. Fans are not immortal and consist of a single generation. They are not finite in number that you may perceive.

Certainly, your concept of respect is shared by others. It is not necessarily shared by all others, especially those belonging to newer, younger fans.

It may come as a surprise but NFL fans have endured far worse situations than that experienced by Cowboys fans' pre- and post-Jerry Jones. It may seem inconceivable, but fans have respected franchises owning poorer legacies than Dallas.

That said, it is interesting how you have tied your personal fed up thoughts to others and formulated a predestined deadline they will automatically follow according to your feelings. You are projecting more onto others, than what will actually happen in reality.
