I get everyone has an opinion and everyone can express their opinion. it doesn't mean you should especially if you are just being redundant in expressing...that's called futility. everyone here knows the loudest barkers position. no one is changing their views because the loudest barkers keep screaming the same nonsense at the top of their lungs. There is no... zero...none...value added to the conversation. all it does is scream I'm a narcissist...please pay attention to me look at me...hear me...blah blah blah.. While the rest of us would like to read and discuss and hear more about what is happening with the team...real x's and o's who looks good...who doesn't in training camp. I remember a time when we used to get play by play updates on training camp. between the media and the fans that attended, it felt like you had a front row seat at camp. now every single post is hi jacked with a Dak Sucks blah blah blah....Dak's the best, blah blah blah....it gets old real quick.
How can we, as CZers, help?

Nope. That's rich for someone crying about free speech lol. The "point" just goes to show how full of it you are and show exactly how your nonsense derails everything on this board.

I only spoke for myself. I think this nonsense ruins the experience for people.

It's an opinion, don't need to prove it. But the evidence is all the good posters who have left, the existence of this thread, and the fact that you're stupid enough to get banned on this board to begin with lol.
Whoever left is not missed and they prospering on another site unless the goal is sanitized group think or unlettered profanity amongst tens of users.

The "id like the internet better if it only I see things that aren't challenging or offensive to my being" is out there.

This right here. I've never been on an online forum related to any topic that doesn't get straight up combative at times.

You just have to live with it and avoid the threads where the arguments are occurring. Just by doing that you can avoid the worst of it.

9.5/10 times just from the thread title I can determine the civility of the discourse going on in there and if it something I don't want to partake in, I just don't click anymore.

I've come to the point where I think it is better to under moderate than over moderate as it leads to more authentic discussion.
Therein lies the problem. These arguments are taking over almost every thread on the site.

Even in a thread about making the zone a better place, posters can't help arguing about Dak. It's weird and disgusting.
It was the same thing back at DC.com. I really can't say if it is worse now than it was then because I stayed out of all the Romo arguments. I knew there was a massive divide amongst the members, but I tried to stay neutral and never picked a side.

We created a separate forum for him. Made for a much better discussion environment.
