How has that development and adjustment turned out lately, eh?
Turns out he's having a damn solid rookie year at LT.

Are you including his many QB pressures and sacks he's given up, especially lately?Turns out he's having a damn solid rookie year at LT.
In those 2 games he faced the 2nd and 5th overall picks in this year's draft

out of how many pass block sets on a game to game basis... for an entire season up to this point ?
as i told u, it's unfortunate many like you expect a rookie Tyler to All pro at LT the minute he hits the field Week 1
Quit making excuses. Football is football. If you keep getting burned and getting your QB pressured or sacked (that's not including Tyler Smith's many holds lately), you deserve to be benched. Period. Take accountability...just like some fans need to as well.out of how many pass block sets on a game to game basis... for an entire season up to this point ?

I don’t think anyone is expecting a rookie to be an all pro, we’re just aware of his struggles in pass pro and it’s concerning down the stretch.
Tyler is already an above average run blocking LT which is awesome, but he’s below average in pass pro which is scary considering the pass rushers we’ll face in the playoffs.
Guys like Nick Bosa will be kicking their chops.
if Tyler was " below average" in pass blocking - every team, every body he'd lines up against would've been whooping his azz, and he'd practically be Chaz Green 2.0 .
as i pointed out earlier, Vikes Za' Darius Smith who is supposedly one of the better edge rushers in NFL, and Tyler held his own.
Ditto with Trey Hendricks Cincy ... and Washington' Marcus Sweat..
Rookies Detroit's Hutchison and Giants Kayvon Thideaux were the only ones i can recall really giving Tyler fits - and those two were No.1 and No. 3 overall draft picks.

Again, he’s bottom 10 in sacks allowed, penalties and pressures (guessing). I really like him but stats / metrics don’t lie.
And again.. he's went against some of the better DEs and held his own .. as a rookie who wasn't even previously prepared in camp or preseason.
If he was as bad as you guys are trying to make him out to be at LT, ..then we would have already seen in place of vet Jason Peters and
moved back inside at LG.
Every LT goes against good pass rushers. Peters is 40. He’s an insurance policy. Doesn’t change anything.
Yeah, and the holding penalties, QB pressures and sacks keep coming. Let's side with feelings instead of the mistakes happening on the field.LOL ! ..
... oh now you want to go from having him moved to OG ... to now having him benched ?
this is why i am so very glad the better coaches don't think and overreact like some fans do.

Tyler's play made sure Peters stayed insurance policy instead of a forced starter.
A clear pocket when? Put your dumb Dak hatred away for once. We're talking about Tyler Smith's costly performances as of late. You have to bring Dak into it because you can't handle how Smith has been messing up lately. Yes, Tyler Smith should be benched whether for a series or two...or a game or two...until he fixes his mistakes.as well as how many times Dak had a clear pocket to survey the field as he has ... ?
Feelings coming from a fan that wants to see Tyler not just moved .. but benched ? .... LOL
I edited my post to decent game. I realize it wasn't very solid.
