It's Time To Panic

It aint hindsight when I simply called for it at the time.

Why are you on this board and NOT in some teams FRTOFC... You're wasting your skills here with us..

Man its unbeleivable.. Dude should be on the Cowboys staff. He loves calling out hindsight stuff... Amazing!!

Are you new here? Really are you? Perhaps you are just new to reading? Got to be one of these things because people have been begging for this line to be solidified all year long.

Why worry most of our injured players will be back before the tough part of our schedule begins? Aren't the Commanders playing with a rebuilt offensive line? Chicago and Houston dont have great lines either. We should be in fairly good shape after the bye week.

I actually agree with this, my problem is what happens if anything like this happens in the season? We have absolutely no depth, this happens in the season, and you can at least kiss top two seeds good buy, if not the division.

This should have been addressed in the off season, and it sure as hell better be addressed now.

Ahh, I see you can't see or read. My post count will tell you if I'm new or not. Lawd Lawd Lawd!!!!

Right over your head.

Ok, congratulations, so you are not new here. So are you new to reading? Perhaps you are just new to reading comprehension? Judging by this response I would say the latter appears to be the case.

Ahh, but you're the one who asked if I was new when that answer is posted with each post. Dude, let it go...

How about you respond to my actual point:

Have or have not people on here been begging for the O line situation to be addressed the entire off season? And yet you want to say that it is hind sight? BS, go back and check the archives if you don't believe me. Just because you can't figure out that a line without depth (when even some of our starters are shaky) is a bad thing until some get hurt, does not mean that others can not.

Even before these injuries, it was the same line that got destroyed by minny after flo went down. Think about it, we've made no changes to a starting line that cost us a chance at a superbowl a few months ago. No changes.

We need to become a power running team anyway. Start off running the ball, get the offensive linemen feeling comfortable blocking, and it will open everything else up. 30+ carries a game! 12 each for Barber and Felix and 6-8 for Choice. When we come out slinging it, the offensive line will get knocked around early, Romo starts getting happy feet in the pocket and everything will fall apart.

Yeah but what in your opinion was/is actually available? Jerry drafted the best players available the last few years, do you think he should've taken a OL for the sake of it over A Dez Bryant or Felix Jones? The best OL available was probably Flozell Adams and the organization felt it was better to part ways with him. I think we will address OL next season.

It's time to get desperate like the Vikings and trade for Mankins.

The Dez Bryant pick is looking pretty fail right now since there's going to be 2 seconds for Tony to make his reads. WHat's the point of having all these weapons?

Who would start pulling the trigger on some moves?

I've said that since the draft?

You may be right, that they will wait to address it, but if that is the case I can almost guarantee you, you can wait for the SB until next season. And you may be right at this point there is not much that can be done. Jerry should know better.

How do you draft to cover future injuries you don't know are going to happen?
This is American Football, not soccer. Injuries occur during work outs.
Unfortunately for us, it's been quite frequent this season.

Who knew?

Just wanted to know if there's any more optimistic people out there saying that it's just preseason and everything will be alright.

The injuries to the O-line are more than worrisome. I feel like this Cowboys team is a Ferrari and the O-line has the Ferrari sitting on cinder blocks..in other words..nice to look at but useless and will never go anywhere.

I'll be brutally honest here when I say I put little stock into your thoughts/opinions when it comes to sports in general.

So no, it's not time to panic, or even near time.

Of course some fans have complained about the oline, thats obvious but that same oline won 12 games last year and had our offense in the top 5 in the league. You can't have All Pro depth across the board and whinning and crying about every move JJ makes isn't going to help. Yeah, Minn hammered us with a injured Colombo and a missing Flozell at their place. Who was JJ gonna get to replace those guys for this year. Free replaced Flo and Colombo was healthy again. Dude all your whinning and moaning does nothing..
