I've been hearing our defense isn't bad all week

Idk how you guys can say that you don't think they are that bad. they have the worst talent on defense in the NFL, if you think they will be good then your talent evaluations are way off.

I think an argument can be made, that your reading skills are not as good as the Cowboys defense.

Can we get your in depth evauations, players, individually as to why they are that bad? and why the defenseive scheme may not suit them?

Don't know many people saying the defense was good. More like 'it was not as bad as we thought it was going to be.'

I still think it's bad. Harbaugh clearly targeted Claiborne and knew that if Claiborne had to tackle, he couldn't do it.

Wilcox stunk from watching the All-22 film. Durant had a rough game. I think the D-Line was better than given credit for. They could flush out Kaepernick and often times couldn't get to Kaepernick because guys were getting open so quickly underneath.

I doubt he's a fan at all. I just find it strange that fans (if they really are fans) seem gleeful if the team is bad in areas. I'm not saying fans can't and shouldn't be critical of the team if the team is playing poorly, but why would a fan be happy about it?

I watch a lot of CFB, I know good players and trash players. Jerrah and Stephen always take the trash or the guys made of glass. You act like it's rocket science toe evaluate players, they are the worst I've ever seen at evlauating defense. JErrah said Mo Clay was the next Deion Sanders, did he not watch a game of LSU. Their entire defense were NFL players.

and that makes you what? I watch a lot of college football as well and that does not make me an experts. As for Mo, Jerry was not the only one talking about how great of a prospect Mo was. Mike Mayock write up on Mo claims him to be the best defensive prospect in college within that draft and others around the league has him rated high. Evidently your scouting prowess impresses you quite a bit to me it does not mean damn thing. As for the current group all most have even said is lets see how the perform how they come together as a group. Yet week 1 of the season and you make claims and act as if anyone who disagrees does not understand. You talk about being realistic? most realist would hold off and watch how a unit progress of not before making such bold statements.

A good player on Saturday, no matter how he looks against lesser college players, does not mean he will be great in the NFL going up against better players.
The draft is a crap shoot a good part of the time.
