Sometimes, speculation is a really bad thing. It gets so many people stirred up when the best thing to do is wait for training camp and see how things are progressing.

Put some core pieces in place on defense in last year's draft wit Brown, Collins, and if Smith is ready this year's defense has some real potential to serve up some shock reality.
Mediots all say the defense took a step back by letting the FAS walk, but I'm not buying that analysis.
Another solid draft can fill out this defense, maybe sign a late cut to fill depth during camp.

I don't think he's the piece to get over the top, but if he comes back healthy he can definitely help transform the middle of the defense and make the back end's job a little easier.

We still need some help along the defensive line to really go over the top.

When I opened this thread, the first thing I looked at was his ankle to see if there was a brace. I kind of feel like one of Pavlov's dogs...conditioned to immediately look for brace when seeing pic of Jaylon.
