Where do we line him up so that he makes an impact? MLB? I was under the impression that MLB was inconsequential in the Tampa 2.

I was under the impression the strong side linebacker (Sam) was the inconsequential position in the scheme the Cowboys run. I've heard that the weak side linebacker (Will) and middle linebacker (Mike) are significantly more important.

But only the Will makes impact plays ala Derrick Brooks whereas the MLB has historically been manned by no-names such as Shelton Quarles (Who?).

I still think he's going to be a 2nd round bust. I obviously want him to be every bit as good as we're expecting, but some of you have such low expectations that you'll be happy with just him playing without a brace. I don't think we'll be that lucky with him being a Super stud. It's the Cowboys.

Most cowboy fans on this board are actually patriots or steelers or giants fans and actually hate the Cowboys. They have latched on to the Cowboys band wagon because their own teams have won nothing in the last 10 years and the Cowboys have been in the SB practically every year. They keep bringing up all this negative stuff about a FO that has built championship teams

Isn't that an old picture? I was told by someone on this board that Smith hasn't been working out with the Cowboys and yet in this picture, if it's current, you can see Cowboys personnel standing in the background.
