I like where the defense is headed.

This draft is going to be crucial to finishing off the D. If they hit on 2-3 defenders and Smith is a hit, they are in great shape. But if this turns out to be a weak draft for them, they have real holes at CB, DE, S that could really hurt the defense the next few years.

There is a lot of pressure this year, probably moreso than ever, to get the defensive picks right. When you don't dive into FA to address some holes, it puts that much more pressure on you to make it right in the draft.

I obviously want him to be every bit as good as we're expecting, but some of you have such low expectations that you'll be happy with just him playing without a brace. Most cowboy fans on this board are actually patriots or steelers or giants fans and actually hate the Cowboys. They have latched on to the Cowboys band wagon because their own teams have won nothing in the last 10 years and the Cowboys have been in the SB practically every year. They keep bringing up all this negative stuff about a FO that has built championship teams

If he comes back 100 percent healthy you think he will be a 2nd round bust? This kid was the consensus #1 pick in that draft if healthy. How could you say that him being 100 percent healthy and he is going to be a bust? lol. I get that the Cowboys have bad luck, but if you look at our hits last year, nailed a 6th rounder for the first time in memory, nailed our 4th round pick and grabbed what looks to be a franchise QB, and Collins looks great as well. Not to mention Tapper i have a feeling is going to be great as well. So i think that luck is smiling on us now. Just have faith my friend.
