Jabaal Sheard to Pats

Im starting to think, Dallas isnt even going to get Hardy. And will let DM go....

I hope they know what they are doing....

I don't think he fits Marinelli's system.

If that is the case, then I have a problem with Marinelli's system.

Who fits? Clods who he can grind into overachieving?

There is nothing wrong with getting your "guru" some materials to work with.

Callahan was the same way. He was hailed as some sort of miracle worker but it is funny how the miracle only happened when the talent was added.

With a name like Jabaal Sheard, how do you create a nickname for that?

It was doomed from the beginning.

Damnit. I REALLY wanted Sheard on this Defense, i thought he could go from a 8 sack guy to a 11-14 sack guy right here under Rod. Sucks dick but w.e., maybe we've got plans for Mr. Hardy, sure hope so.

I still think JJ's one big splash will be Hardy, and we'll also have to spend a bit to retain RoMac.

I just want to scream and cuss like a kid. This Damn team isn't doing anything. We are gong to be screwed this year. Sb run my ***

Since everyone has been saying "only bottom dwellers spend big in free agency, let me add: this is the type of deal Super Bowl winners make.

Two years ago, the Seahawks signed DE Michael Bennett to a 1-year $4.8 million deal with $1.5 guaranteed. They also signed Cliff Avril to a 2-year $13 million deal. They combined for 16.5 regular season sacks and provided the pass rush needed for the secondary to be elite. Not a bad deal.

Jabal Sheard just got 5.5M per season and everyone is ruing. I recall the same people huffing and puffing when Murray turned down 4M - saying that it was too much.

I think Doc50 just doesn't know what he's talking about. Why would he not be a fit? 265+, 33.5" arms, strong build, good motor. Why would Marinelli not want that guy?

Really there is nobody out there except Hardy, looks like Mcclay and stephen are caught napping because surely we could have afforded 5 million when the same guys decided to franchise Spencer.

Easier to insert a rb behind this line than to just pop a pass rusher out of thin air.

Most people would have paid Murray up to 7 million a year. Maybe even 7.5. The investments in the offensive line take away from investments that could have been made on the defensive line, that has to even out, and it evens out from running back. Namely Murray.

There are still a lot of guys out there.
This was a team friendly deal that Dallas likely would have done.
Sheard took the offer from the SB champs for obvious reason.

Instead of having a premature man cry why not wait and see where this all shakes out.

We had a full off-season last year of crying. All it proved was fans are clueless and overly emotional.

Ughh...this is getting inexcusable at this point.

Jerry better have Hardy up his sleeve

I liked this player, not sure why we didn't kick the tires.

This is one of the problem with showing no cap space or a willingness to spend. Guys don't even come in for visits before they sign cheap deals.
