Jacob Rogers-new attitude, wrong, same person

exactly -- what's the cost here? Marcus Price's roster spot?

Rogers may not be able to get on the field but he is far more of a pure talent than Petitti or Tucker.

If he had even half of Petitti's toughness he'd be a stud.

I can't say I question his toughness because I'm not in his shoes nor am I a doctor. On the other hand a player who is constantly fighting injuries and is unable to get on the field because of these injuries is worthless to the team. As I said I have doubts about Rogers but I do hope he can overcome these injuries and start showing the reason he was drafted to begin with.

You may hate Rogers--fine--but this argument is just flat wrong. Jerry Jones and others, including Marco Rivera, said Rogers was one of the best at working out between his 1st and 2nd seasons.

Money quote from last training camp:

In other news, Parcells all but named second-year player Jacob Rogers the starter at right tackle.

"He's much stronger than he was last year," Parcells said. "He is like light years ahead. His conditioning is better. His strength is better, and he's intelligent."

The Cowboys drafted Rogers, 6-6, 312 pounds, in the second round last year. Despite his lofty draft status, he saw action in only two games, mainly because he wasn't physically strong enough to perform in the NFL, Parcells said.
