He may break 4.3 though and has before.

I don't have anything from that meet but this is a shot of the time board from the ACC Championships in the 100 metters. Can't remember if it was 2007 or 2008 though.lkelly;3268145 said:Show us the FAT timing results from that meet. I'll be holding my breath....

Jordan Shipley and I'm rioting ...:chainsaw::chop::thumbdo:

That said, he could easily go in the top of the 3rd or even in the bottom half of the 2nd round.

Maybe because he really didn't run a 4.1 forty? Just guessing (by 99.999% sure) it was hand timed and inaccurate.AustnIsMySaviour;3268022 said:if he ran a 4.1 in high school, what makes you think he can't do it 4 years later buddy ?

Those are amazing times...honestly very, very impressive for sheer speed. Not even remotely close to the 4.1 stated by someone else though.Scranton Tiger;3290392 said:In his 40, Ford laid down a 4.27 and a 4.28.

Buddy.
I did not call you names, so calm down and don't take it so personally.AustnIsMySaviour;3290755 said:**** buddy, it clearly states right there he did. How the **** can you be 99.9 % sure if it many articles it has stated he ran a 4.1 in high school? lmao

The point is, he does not have an electronically timed 4.1 forty time. It's really common for those lower level track meets, or even some pro days, to miss 40 times by a whole, whole lot. If you don't buy it, just ask around...my guess is that amost everybody with experience in this on this board will tell you the same.
I see he didn't even come close to it in the combines, btw.
Don't shoot the messenger....this is not personal.
My point is I give up. White flag...truce.AustnIsMySaviour;3290777 said:do you think 20+ reporters/scouts just happened to time him at 4.1? I guess all those articles on it are all mistaken then....he clocked a 9.98 in the 100 m dash so I don't know what the big surprise is here. Usain bolt clocked a time of 10.4 before he broke the record with a 9.5, so whats your point??

with that kind of attitude no wonder you never here of SMU anymore
Your guys are on the rise, relatively speaking. With a DFW recruiting base, I always wondered why they weren't better. I went to UNC and ECU. Although ECU has won your conference for two years running, I think SMU beat them this season. The Pirate fans really railed on them for that and made some excuse like maybe the overlooked them or something, but I tried to tell them that SMU is getting better and can cause trouble at home if you don't play well. So grudging props to the Ponies for that.AustnIsMySaviour;3290836 said:well actually was for 7 years, but still a bag fan. And with what attitude exactly big guy? I'd say 8-5 with a 3rd string QB and one of the best Offenses in C-USA ain't to shabby, are you sure we're living on the same planet?
