Jacoby Ford in Round 3?

Your guys are on the rise, relatively speaking. With a DFW recruiting base, I always wondered why they weren't better. I went to UNC and ECU. Although ECU has won your conference for two years running, I think SMU beat them this season. The Pirate fans really railed on them for that and made some excuse like maybe the overlooked them or something, but I tried to tell them that SMU is getting better and can cause trouble at home if you don't play well. So grudging props to the Ponies for that.

yeah we did beat them 28-21 this year, they still won the conference though. Don't forget this year we had 3 games that were decided by a FG, one in overtime which we could have easily won. We're going to take a big hit with the loss of Sanders to the pros, but there are a couple HS Srs in the University Park area that have committed, so theres at least something to look forward to. In the next couple of years I think we'll dominate the conference. Cant stand ECU man.

ECU fans are rabid...you should see one of their home games. It's very entertaining.
They really hate UNC though...and I'm a Tarheel grad, so it's a bit odd. ECU iskind of like Texas Tech I guess--rabid fans with a chip on their shoulder that really hate the "main" school in the state in all sports and in general (UT or UNC).

Side topic: with CUSA being so good in baseball, why did SMU give it up? It just seems odd that a D-1 school would not have baseball. I guess it was a Title IX casualty?

lmao no I dont hate alot of things, :laugh2: I forgot to mention June Jones btw, hes going to do great things. As for baseball I have no clue, that happened so long ago to tell you the truth, it could have been related to Title IX though. And yes ECU fans are classless.

I have too many SMU friends to hold your stereotyping against the whole school and fan base. My Tarheel brethren would probably side with you more than me anyway, but I'll agree to disagree with you on the generic "classless" comment.

Maybe because he really didn't run a 4.1 forty? Just guessing (by 99.999% sure) it was hand timed and inaccurate.

I don't know because I'm not a track guy, but maybe the difference is that he started with blocks when the reports of a 4.1 came up. Considering he ran times of 4.27 and 4.28 with no blocks at the combine, wouldn't that make it more possible? Am I way off or do starting blocks help a runners over all time?
