Goodell. He's a buffoon to the highest order. Anything for a dollar, he approves. These color rush jerseys are to make money. Puts more product out there to sell. The presentation of these Thu night games with these color rush jerseys and the sloppy play looks like that of a JV high school game.

Goodell probably has stock in the company that makes all these different looks in uniforms. Or was given some kind o f kickback.....lol

I thought he might be the Jaguars qb of the future. He took a huge step back this year, and looks like the jags must continue their search for a qb

Honestly, I don't know how Bradley isn't fired by halftime. It's been a general consensus that the Jags have done a pretty good job of accumulating young talent. And the more talent they get...the worse they get.

This is ridiculous.

So one (Elliott) plays a position where he individually benefits from the play of an o-line littered with All-Pro/Pro Bowlers. Ramsey gets blamed for both the offensive and defensive shortcomings of the team, regardless of how he plays individually at CB.

With his argument, you might as well avoid CBs altogether in the first round.

But there is a reason they are still valued more than RBs in the first round.

I always thought the color rush uniforms were to get people to buy additional jerseys.

Boy was I wrong. No one is sitting home saying, I gotta get one of those mustard colored jerseys.

I called my wife in to see the attack of the mustard men. Ugliest uniforms I've seen yet, and that's saying something. This color rush is an utter disaster from my perspective.

So what would Ramsey be doing, right now, for this team?

That is the real point here.

The take the player that makes you better.

And now, very clearly, it is Elliott.

True. Ramsey is playing great. But Mo Claiborne has been surprisingly one of the better corners in the league this year. And if you say Ramsey would play saftey here.. well Barry church has been playing near pro bowl level.. Elliott was definitely the right pick

The way Anthony Brown is playing is makes it really easy to forget about Ramsey.

Brown would of made that tackle on Henry, or at least slowed him up.

I thought this would be the Jags year where they make an impact, not on defense, but I thought their offense would be dynamic. I still see them as an up and coming team that will be pretty damn good.

But yeah, looking like a coaching and coordinator change may be needed.

You have absolutely little to no knowledge of anything, Alexander. We have proven this. You have displayed this on multiple topics.

You even get what a shutdown corner can do for a defense? I'm guessing no. There is a reason RBs are so devalued in the draft these days. They have short productive years, most don't pan out when taken high. While the hit rate of a corner may be low early in the draft, a shutdown corner >>>>> RB with MAYBE 4-5 years of good/great production.

You are short sighted, reactionary, and illogical on so many issues and it's exactly why I don't engage you. You can go back to rambling to yourself.
Except Ramsey isn't a shutdown corner .
We took a sure fire elite RB over a CB that may never see a pro bowl in his career.

Ramsey looks overweight? What are you even talking about?

And when did anyone say Jags would instantly become the best defense? You guys get it's 8 games into their career right? I didn't know players must come out and play at a HOF level.

My goodness, the bias here is disturbingly bad this year. It just won't stop. All rational/critical thinking is dead.

Overweight for a CB. Sorry, after seeing Ramsey get trucked by the RB, maybe he is underweight. Doesn't matter. Got toasted, got trucked, got a personal foul, and lost his jock on the last run for a TD by Henry. Hey, lot's of TV time for Ramsey tonight, so far. Unfortunately, none of it good.

This Titans running game is serious! Their OL is probably the 2nd best in the League. Love the dedication to the run.

For the most part, I think that's the very point he is making. There have been a lot of years where people here have wanted CB over other positions. Newman over Suggs, was it? The Claiborne pick. Jenkins. We've taken a number of corners high, and very rarely has it created a huge impact on the defense.

I think for many, corner is kind of the "running back of the defense." Having the best secondary isn't usually very fruitful unless you've got something going on in the front 7.
