Overweight for a CB. Sorry, after seeing Ramsey get trucked by the RB, maybe he is underweight. Doesn't matter. Got toasted, got trucked, got a personal foul, and lost his jock on the last run for a TD by Henry. Hey, lot's of TV time for Ramsey tonight, so far. Unfortunately, none of it good.

You mean a 6-4 RB, at around 250 pounds you never want to see going on and one with a CB? How about some context here. Try again, also how about looking at some grades on Ramsey.

I called my wife in to see the attack of the mustard men. Ugliest uniforms I've seen yet, and that's saying something. This color rush is an utter disaster from my perspective.

Totally agree. Some of the unis are pulled off pretty well. Tennessee's, for instance, aren't terrible to look at. But who in the world created this Jacksonville kit?

How many of those yards have come away from the line?

Because, like 2014, Murray had nearly 1,000 yards after contact. So, did we just spend a top 5 pick on a player that did something a third rounder can do behind this line?
Most 3rd rounder HBs arent nearly as productive as Murray was with us

Except Ramsey isn't a shutdown corner .
We took a sure fire elite RB over a CB that may never see a pro bowl in his career.

And Revis wasn't a shutdown corner. And Peterson wasn't where he was at coming out of college. Neither was Sherman. Many scouts believed Ramsey to be the best CB prospect since Peterson.

You are short sighted. There is no other reason to entertain your argument.

For the most part, I think that's the very point he is making. There have been a lot of years where people here have wanted CB over other positions. Newman over Suggs, was it? The Claiborne pick. Jenkins. We've taken a number of corners high, and very rarely has it created a huge impact on the defense.

I think for many, corner is kind of the "running back of the defense." Having the best secondary isn't usually very fruitful unless you've got something going on in the front 7.
Bravo, Peachfuzz.

Honestly, I don't know how Bradley isn't fired by halftime. It's been a general consensus that the Jags have done a pretty good job of accumulating young talent. And the more talent they get...the worse they get.

This is ridiculous.
Kinda off topic, but I think Jack Del Rio is a coach who will also hold the raiders back. Dont know why he got another hc job. I know it wont happen and dont care if it does, but if the Raiders got Jim Harbaugh for their HC, theyll be contenders

I thought this would be the Jags year where they make an impact, not on defense, but I thought their offense would be dynamic. I still see them as an up and coming team that will be pretty damn good.

But yeah, looking like a coaching and coordinator change may be needed.

I thought they would make a jump and not if challenged for the divison but at least be a factor in the outcome by beating some of the teams.

As much as I am making comments about Ramsey. I do feel eventually, as it takes a good 3 years for a DB to get it. He and Jack, and Telvin Smith and a few others will be the making of a very good defense.

I thought the same thing, at least Tennessee has an inoffensive color.

But they are both the same shade, if you turn the color down on your TV it's really hard to tell the teams apart. I guess they just assume that everyone watches in color now so they don't need to have a dark and light uniform.

Some of the best RBs in the league right now are second and third round. Arguably the best RB is a third rounder right now on pace of breaking LTs yards from scrimmage record.

Yep. Murray had the single-best rushing season in team history. Many scoffed and credited it all to the offensive line, and assumed Randle could do just as well.

Turns out Murray's effort was a tad more difficult to replicate than many anticipated.

It's no surprise that Murray is again among the league leaders in rushing. He's a damn, damn good player. Is he perfect? Or the fastest? Nope. But he's really, really good.

Chip Kelly was just too dumb to realize it. The guy traded away LeSean McCoy and then proved to be the one village idiot who didn't know how to utilize Murray. Thankfully for us, I guess, since running back is now a weakness for the Eagles.
