I expected Jax D to play well but Im alil shocked that NEs D is getting smacked around right now.

It’s a great sign. It’s just not schematic, they are controlling the clock by running all over the Pats defense. Adjustments can’t really help exhaustion.

Bortles doesnt look confused.

He’s getting 3+ seconds to pick a target and has plays designed to get people open.

Excellent play calling and execution by the Jaguars. Right now they're playing power football on both sides of the ball and keeping ball security. They have the defense to beat the Pats, but the offense was uncertain. So far so good for the latter. They ran plays from the same formation three different times and did three different things. That is how you scheme for unpredictability.

Huh? Bryant does not run sideline patterns?

Dez runs go routes, but when is the last time you saw Dez or any other WR have to make a catch and keep his feet in-bounds?

Dak throws to the sideline inside of 5-7 yards, buts that's it. Since Dak doesn't attack the sidelines down field, except for the go route, defenses clog the middle, double Beasley and/or Witten and make it tough for Dez and others to run IN routes.

This basically explains our offensive difficulties this year.

Watch for those sideline throws from Brady and Bortles. Already seen many.

The jaguars are just an extremely physical team. They are kind of beating the patriots up. i believe the jags can win this

Jags offense has been overlooked because "Bortles" and that Buffalo game, but they were 6th in the NFL this season. Pats defense this year has been smoke and mirrors.

I agree you can't count out Brady & Co yet, but this feels like the better team is wearing black, gold, and teal.

Bortles isn’t really doing anything special. Basically beating the Pats with their own strategy by throwing to the running backs.

And that's ok.....with the way Jacksonville is built, all they need to do is to play smart mistake free football. That's where you get good bortles. When you play bortles like he's Brady, then you get ugly bortles!
