Yes. Why? No speed, no separation ability, but good on ST's.
Just a wee bit early is all I'm saying, lets watch how this preseason starts to unfold first.
A lot of comp everywhere on this roster, this depth chart would probably go easily undefeated in preseason, but we will pull some guys that are only on the bubble and replace them with Streeter's.
Just exaggerating a bit, but hope you get my drift.

I will actually be ecstatic if he is Noah Brown. Decent backup, great STer. That's what you hope to find in the later rounds of the draft. Maybe he'll also be a good end zone threat. W/ his mitts and size, he well could be.

I have more hope for the Cropp.

Well I believe they wanted to get better at WR3/4/5/6.
Moving on from Brown was the appropriate choice.
This is a very good WR group with even more hands contributing from RBs and TEs.

I looked up his stats in college and he went to three schools. Really did nothing. It’s amazing seeing the clips of him out there as he looks like a natural WR. Looks easy.

Agreed.

Most fans don't know this, but the minimum salary escalates every year the player is in the league.

Min right now is 700 grand and change, goes to up to 8 and then 900 grand and change. At this point, Noah's salary is most likely around 1.5 mil or so. (Guessing on that one!!)

So, yes, it was time to replace him. If Brooks is a great STer, there it is!!!!!! And I'd love if he can be the 4th/5th WR. That's an added bonus.

The top 3 slots are set at this time.

He is. Problem is lack of speed. His 4.69 at the combine was the worst among WRs. Might be a good STer.

I actually don't comprehend the hoopla over him. Has he shown the ability to create separation? His highest year in catches was 33/504yds.

I'm thinking most don't don't understand what creating separation is, and how important it is to an NFL player.

He ran a 4.58 at his pro day. But seeing him run on the field he looks to run much better than a 40 indicates. Not the first time. Gallup decribed him as explosive.

Give me Lamb, Cooks, Brooks, and Durden and/or Moreno-Cropper....Gallup, Tolbert, and Turpin should be set out by the curb for early morning pick-up.
I have read many of your posts and routinely enjoy them. But your assessment of Gallup needing to be put out for the trash pick-up is a whiff in my opinion. I could be wrong, but don't think so.

All I know is he was running past Bland’s 4.4 speed on that bomb from Dak.

Here is backup quarterback Cooper Rush's scouting report on the team's seventh-round draft choice, wide receiver Jalen Brooks:
"Big (6-1, 203), fast, really can run, rangy," and so far, making his presence known …

I do find your posts entertaining, just no way you can justify that... LMAO
