I think that they can carry 6 and have 2 on the Practice Squad.

Why do they need 6? I'm curious because I don't know if it's 5 or 6. Certainly, it won't be 7. I'm pretty sure they go 4 deep at TE with McKeon or Luepke, so we shall see.

I really want to see them keep Cropper and Brooks around. Then again, they have a lot invested in Fehoko, and this will be the year he has to earn it in preseason. I would like to keep 6 for selfish reasons, but I think maybe they keep 5 and FB/RB or TE/FB. I want to see Luepke or Fant do something. I haven't heard McCarthy say much of anything about the fullback position or how much it'll be added and by which means it will be added. But I suspect it's probably coming to some degree.

Turpin & Fehoko 15 mins are up .

I've heard good arguments about why to keep Turpin around. So we shall see what it comes down to. I'm figuring in 4 TEs, for ST, and also a returner. We have a returner, but we saw how the preseason game changed the dynamic of the roster when Turpin scored his 2nd TE, he shooed himself into a slot.

We'll see what happens with Deuece this year. On one hand, I can see Mccarthy having him sit a year, although I doubt it. I think Deuece is ready. He's been ready.

To me it looks like how the 53 will go. Turpin and Brooks would play a lot of special teams.

All the media says he's rotating in just like all the other WRs and he's making a lot of plays. He's not being treated like a specialty player.

He was given a great opportunity last summer with Amari gone, Gallup rehabbing and James Washington injured the first day of camp and he didn’t perform. He certainly has the size you’re looking for, but this being his third season, it was make or break. I had a lot of discussions about him several weeks ago and wasn’t high on him. I kept referring to him as a jag, which angered some fans. Two weeks into training camp and the drops continue.

This is completely anecdotal based on a few clips on twitter. But seems to me bad things happen often when we throw to Fehoko.

Brooks is showing something. Hope he works out. We don't really have a guy like him on the team.
