Jalen Hurts Regression

One thing is for sure, Cowboys fans shouldn't have the audacity to gloat over Jalen Hurts alleged regression.. **At least he led his team to a Super Bowl appearance in his second season as starter.. That's more than we can say about our QB, who has led us to two divisional round playoff appearances in 7-seasons.

3 divisional round appearances (his rookie year we got a bye and he won two wild card rounds) just sayin!

Not impressed with Philly beating the giants and 49ers with 3rd string QB.

A real leader does not mention the team when he's been awful himself. He just blames himself and says he needs to play better. How can you throw 2 INTs in the 4th quarter and try to blame the team? Did the team make those throws?
I'm not sure I agree.......He said "we"
I'm pretty sure he's not just talking about the game itself but about preparation. Keep in mind their DC was demoted last week. So it's some internal issues coaches are also dealing with.

BTW.......after a week's loss, he said they all needed to p[lay better and it started with him. In other words, his leadership is fine IMO.

I wonder if everyone in the media and every message board will hold him to the same talking points Dak got this past off season. And there’s still 3 games left.
I don’t know if the media will but I was creeping on some Eagles fan forums. They’re not happy. Some of the fans are wanting Hurts and Siriani out after this season. They’re upset about Hurts’ regression, poor decision making, and the “commitment “ comment.

It’s eerily similar to the type of posts that was happening on this board about Dak and McCarthy. Almost word for word.

That’s not Jalen Hurts! It’s Leo Farnsworth! He killed Joe Pendleton! Damn you, Richard! Why?

Hurts has never impressed me, hell he couldn’t even finish the title game in college without being benched.

They're a bad team that lost their coordinators and they look like it.

Why you should never pay / make assumptions off one year. Happens in all sports to this day which is mind-boggling. Laughed when he got paid.

Behind that OL a QB can’t help but to do some good things and he still is struggling
I expected Purdy to regress and Hurts to be fairly steady. It went the exact opposite direction.

Great runner. Crappy passer.
Always has been. He didn't regress, they're asking him to do what they didn't ask him to do last year. Last year was a heavy RPO offense that included him. He would throw quick passes when defenses were selling out for the run. That allowed for deep shots as well. He didn't have to do much thinking. This year they're using him a lot more as a conventional QB. He wasn't good at that in 2021, that's why they changed it up. But he's a little better passing this year than he was in 2021.

This is karma for all that gloating about Dak leading the league in picks last year lol. Hopefully its still funny now that its Hurts lol.
Yet he doesn’t get near the crap that Dak got. “What’s wrong with Dak” went on almost all year. To this point, we still don’t hear that question in Philly. Rightly so, it’s more about “What’s wrong with Philly,” as it should have been in Dallas.
