Jalen Ramsey on the trading block

The Cowboys won’t do it and can’t afford it, but Diggs and Ramsey as our starting CBs would be pretty sweet.
They can do it, but won't.

Ramsey's cap hits are 17M and 14.5M the next two years. Even if they extend Diggs before the start of the season, his big cap hits won't start until 2025. So we'd have a two year window with both of them.

Of course we should trade for him.

Of course we won't.

Collectively at the position though I just don’t see them committing that

I agree with you that I think they have the resources to improve quickly. And if Fields continues to improve as a passer, even faster.

I can see them paying big for Dalton Schultz too.

But I think they’re going to be in the running for Ramsey. But I don’t expect them or anyone to give up a top pick.
Fields had little help. He had 1 decent wr and if they can get that 2nd wr and a TE they have a chance 2 make a huge leap. They need a rb/TE as well.,which shouldn't be hard given how deep this draft is.Bears need everything. But Field can be dynamic if he has help. Fields dang near beat us and if he had a defense at all they would have. I like him.

CBs age about the same as RBs. Late 20s/early 30s, most are about done.
which is why signing Diggs 2 a big deal bothers me. Not sure he will ever duplicate what he did in 2021.He made 2 many business decisions last year that hurt us. Bland and even Izzy late in the year was better than he.

I’d look at Nik Needham. I’d take him over the current CBs behind Diggs & Lewis

Let’s all say it together: THE RAMS ARE TOAST!
TY Jerry for not putting us in this position for the next 10 years!
Ill bet ya 100 bucks the Rams get further than us in the playoffs over the next 5 years.

Giving up draft picks for a player that another team is trying dump only to give them a massive contract always seemed insane to me. Amari Cooper is the latest example.
