what makes a SS elite isn't picks..stop.....lol
the narrative on here by many keep gong on how ours S’s are not ball hawks, but now it would be ok for Adams not to be a ball hawk?
.....stop....
Yes - didn’t mean for it to be confusing. It appears you compare Ramsey to Adams but then put Adams' stats first and Ramsey's second. Is that the case?
I haven't seen anyone talk about a SS being a ballhawk, FS? yes CB? Yes you just dont know the difference ...stop
Unless things have changed, Fredricks money will not get it done. I think the Cowboys get a little under a mil savings against this years cap on Fredericks deal. See, his signing bonus was already paid to him. That means that because of his early retirement, it seriously hinders the cap hit for this year. All of his signing bonus, still left, accelerates into this years cap. So while there might be savings against his base salary in future cap years, it really hurts this years cap situation.
That's also why all of these suggestions on the Dak contract talking about incentives to turn a 5 year into a 4 year deal are really bad ideas. Basically, the same thing would happen in a situation where a year is removed from an existing contract. Essentially, it make the team account for the additional cap that might be needed in year 4 so it provides no real relief. Helps nothing.
Been talked about a lot about our s's, especially since they were supposedly interchangeable in Rod's defense...so don't start with the not knowing the difference....stop...
this smells like a story planted by his agent and made worse by Mike Fisher for clicks. FAKE NEWS more than likely. This years white Buffalo...ie Earl Thomas.
yeah, but we love many players that we cannot have. Because they aren't reasonable and affordable. For the right deal, HELL YES..but again, the key is reasonable. I think the agent is trying to rekindle this so the Jets will be forced to make a decision.well its no secret they like the player, maybe even love him, considering what they were willing to give a year ago.
But they wanted this year's draft picks with a new coaching staff. They may be more willing to trade future picks. Plus, next year's picks should be in a worse position than this year's. That may persuade the FO to do a deal. jmhoIf Dallas wouldn't give a 1st and 3rd last year when Adams was younger and cheaper and the Jets had more leverage..... why would they do it now?
The price for Adams is going down, not up.
