Anybody else like this guy? Big, strong, cannon for an arm. Obviously going up against a tough Auburn D today.
and supposedly can throw it 60 from his knees. By all reports, he's a great kid too who has had positive male role models around him that kept him on the straight and narrow.SacredStar said:He can supposedly throw the football 80 yards.
He'll still be the top QB in this class.ghst187 said:by contrast....Brady Quinn looked like a true freshman today....horrible
3x INTs plus 1 fumble lost and returned for a TD. Wow.
I think Quinn all but eliminated himself from the Heisman race.
I may have to change my sig....
I agree, but that may be due to a weak qb class this year. He's been subpar in 2 of 3 games this year. He keeps this up, and he just may find himself falling out of the top 10 in the draft.Hostile said:He'll still be the top QB in this class.

Yeah, it's not likely that he will fall out of the top 10, because I don't expect him to continue to play this poorly.ghst187 said:I agree on the subpar so far part but I still think Quinn will probably be the top QB in the draft and hard to remember when the top QB in the draft didn't go in the top 10.
Quinn would have to be horrible for much of the rest of the year and then have a horrible combine....I just don't really see that happening.
He might slip from top 3 to 5-10 but that's still about as far as I could envision him going.
I doubt he falls that far.jay cee said:I agree, but that may be due to a weak qb class this year. He's been subpar in 2 of 3 games this year. He keeps this up, and he just may find himself falling out of the top 10 in the draft.
So do I, but right now, he is not looking anywhere near as good as Leinert, and I think he went 10th.Hostile said:I doubt he falls that far.
Come April when a team is starving for a QB he is still the best on the menu. Leinart had 3 things to deal with for him to fall that far.jay cee said:So do I, but right now, he is not looking anywhere near as good as Leinert, and I think he went 10th.
I agree, but my point was Leinart had a great season and fell to #10. Right now, Quinn is not having a good season. He has to fix that. I don't think he will be a top 10 pick if he finishes with something like 3200 yards, 24tds, and 12 interceptions.Hostile said:Come April when a team is starving for a QB he is still the best on the menu. 1. Young
2. Bush, his own teammate was more attractive.
3. Many of the top teams in the Draft were not thinking QB.
That won't happen 2 years in a row. No way.
We shall see. I still think he'll be where he's been projected.jay cee said:I agree, but my point was Leinart had a great season and fell to #10. Right now, Quinn is not having a good season. That's about the pace he is on, and that is not top 10 worthy.
