I just can't believe that you'd hold Carter, in a higher regard than Russell who is a much better prospect than Carter ever was.

What has Russell done??

has he been drafted in the second round???

has he led a team to the playoffs???

Has he even won a bowl game!?!?!?!

NO

All things that support why Quincy was better than Russell

I would bet Russell is a second day pick.

I have no need to defend Russell, he's not my boy. I'm watching college football just like everyone else. I just can't believe that you'd hold Carter, in a higher regard than Russell who is a much better prospect than Carter ever was. Remember why he came out early?

I have not missed an LSU game in two and a half years

I love LSU......Likewise I hate Russell i resent the dumb plays he makes i think if we had a QB in the mold more of Brohm or Henne we would be much better.

What a load of garbage. So you think because no college QB has yet been drafted or led an NFL team to a playoff that Q is better than all of them out there.

Complete and utter nonsense.

I regard to Quinn:

Quinn had a bad day against Michigan, compared to his usual play. It didn't help that one of his first passes went off the receivers hands and for a TD. Understand, College isn't the NFL, and a play like that is even bigger in a college game.

But, and it's a big but. Up until yesterday, the numbers for Brady Quinn so far this season (Georgia Tech and Penn State) were much better than his numbers after two games last season.

Don't mislead. Before you say that Quinn is playing loudsy this season, look at the numbers and be truthful. If you want to say he struggled against Michigan, I will give you that. But, other than that, he has played better this season than he did last season to that point.

And, before you start comparing him to any other college QB's, show me a college team that has played a schedule as tough as Notre Dame has played in the first three games this season. There is not one.

Quinn will be the first QB taken next year in the draft. I follow ND, and Quinn gets better as the season progresses, just like he did last year. Some of the pressure is now off of him and the Irish, and I expect them to settle in. Tough schedule though. The Irish duck no one, and don't even take phone calls from directional schools (Northern Illinois, Western Kentuck, ect.)

As far as Russell goes, he has a good arm and is athletic, but he has rocks in his head. That was easy to see as he took a sack intead of throwing the ball away by the sidelines, lost 12 seconds, and basically lost the game on that play.

No....... not at all what i mean

i think Quincy showed more ability in college and for someone to say that he is way below Russel is garbage. Only time will tell if Russell is better but so far its not close.

WHATS NONSENSE IS YOU PUTTING WORDS IN MY MOUTH!!!

i compared Russell to Quincy.....nobody else. My point was that to say Russell is much better than Carter is ridiculous because he hasn't had the opportunities to prove himself that Q had. Now i doubt given those opportunities he would do as well, but i did not mean to compare Q to all the QB's in college.

Its not what i said, its not what i meant, so don't make it sound as if i did!

You have picture of Romo as your signature, so you obviously like Romo. Well, it seems like you were on the right track when you did that, so why are you now even worried about Russell and Carter. Carter is out of football, and Russell will never be an NFL starting QB.

Im not really worried about Carter i never loved him, but being a LSU fan i feel that i can speak on Russell.

With me it isn't about Quincy i just don't like how Russell has played at LSU

I love Romo

and supposedly can throw it 60 from his knees. By all reports, he's a great kid too who has had positive male role models around him that kept him on the straight and narrow.

If I recall correctly a guy named Kyle Boller shot up draft boards a few years ago with some impressive workouts including a 60 yard toss from his knees through the uprights... Think I'll rely on some of the more traditional methods of QB evaluation..

Doesn't meet our recent criteria right this moment. That's nifty though.
