James Washington?

Where is this guy? I havent heard anything about him since he got hurt. We could definitely use another WR because it seems like Tolbert wasnt a good pick.

Probably won't be back until after the bye.

Not sure but I was under the impression we were probably looking at like Thanksgiving for him to return. Not sure if that is still accurate or not though.

All I know is a broken foot is especially tough on receivers. Imagine trying to make quick cuts on a foot that’s been surgically repaired. I would think he’s going to need at least 2 more weeks.

He'l provide depth, which is good. But I think we're fine at the top of the corp.

James Washington will be WR #4 behind Lamb, Gallup & Brown and will be behind the TE in targets making him #5 in passing targets in a run first offense. I wouldn’t expect any major impact from James Washington when he comes back other than some WR depth in case somebody gets hurt.

Would've been nice to see what Washington brings to the table in these early games, but how bad is Tolbert if they don't even attempt to incorporate him into the offense?

What where you expecting to hear from him while he was hurt lol. Next week was about where he was expected to return

Who knows?
I don't know why they aren't using Turpin to stretch the field? I mean even if he's just a decoy his flat line speed would have to be respected and help to open thing up for the others. I think KM is missing the boat on this one.
Was Tolbert active last night?

With a backup QB they want to limit the number of inexperienced players in the huddle. They already have:

Rookies
Tyler
Ferguson
Hendershot

Very limited previous starts:
McGovern
Noah Brown

First season as an intended starter:
Steele

Not exactly a savvy veteran:
Biadasz

Back in 94 when Jason Garrett started the Thanksgiving day game, all but 1 starter on both offense and defense had at least 2 years of experience going into that season. The only 1 that didn't was rookie Larry Allen.

Who gets cut for a 1 year rental in Washington, Simi...Tolbert?

I was skeptical of this signing, but I must admit adding Washington and Dak is something I'm ready to see.

Are you pointing out that reporters are lazy...

They don't get clicks for reporting about the status of James Washington...

Tolbert was a small college player at a position that is regarded as the most difficult non-QB position to transition to the NFL. Maybe a bit early to judge him...
