That Romo is a coach killer. Now that was the first time I've heard that.
Is he a coach killer?
I still see a kid, that is living out his fantasy, that is how he looks to me everytime I see him. Immature.

He needs to take charge, and step into reality. He is the QB and the leader of this team.

Until proven otherwise, he is a coach killer.

Tony Romo isn't a Coach Killer.

There's actually another guy on our roster that fits that description alot more than Tony Romo.

And of course the guy is living out his fantasies, most NFL players and highly successful people tend to do that.

Until proof can be offered that his personal life is affecting his professional career, it is pure speculation.

I'm not ready to give up on a guy that has only started for a little over 2 NFL Seasons.

Any talented QB who lacks self discipline and is just "living out his fantasies and immature" is, by definition, a coach killer. Unfortunately not just TR but many of the star players on our team are this way.

no matter how talented you are, if you are not disciplined, there is a good chance you will lose in football.

Judge for yourself if that describes our QB/team.

This team is very very talented. This is why it is so frustrating watching WP coach this team. As fans, we will spend the rest of our days wondering "what might have been"

And in the 2 seasons has broken club records. Romo will be just fine..

Yeah, a lot of coaches would kill to have him as their QB.

Hard to make the case that Romo is a coach killer with this coaching staff. That would actually require a competent coaching staff......

I like Dukes. I didn't see the totality of his comments on this issue, but I would guess that he's talking about his immaturity. Which I didn't think was an issue until this season and the way he's responded to turbulence. I'd rather see some fire and him getting PO'd and getting in guys faces, than blowing it off and laughing and chuckling all the time. It REALLY PISSES OFF COWBOY FANS when they seem to care more than their QB who's making MILLIONS. NOT GOOD.............

Romo's good enough to put up some big numbers and have a winning record. But so far he hasn't shown he can be a clutch performer down the stretch or in the playoffs.

Tomorrow he has a chance to turn it around and start losing that label. If not, then he will just cement it even more.

Sad but true 5. Laughing it off won't make it go away. Hasn't worked for Romo anyway...................

Rank the best QBs in football.

Brady, Manning... Then things become debatable.

Brees, Delhomme, Manning, Warner, Rivers, Cutler...

Not too many I'd want over Romo. He's shattering records, and he's only 29.

Romo is one slippery football and a sloppy Crayton route away from being the 3rd best QB in football from the media's standards.

There isn't anyone thats going to take us furthur than Romo, so we just have to deal with the fact that our girlfriend has a nice rack - but her face is a little busted. Bottom line.

People forget that Garrett has less experience as a coordinator than Romo has as a quarterback.

I agree. I'd take Romo after Brady and Peyton...easy.

Personally I think the opposite is true. This current coaching staff is a Romo killer.

If I had a dime for every time I have ranted this I might be pretty well off by now. Hopefully at some point in his career he does step up and become the leader his guys need him to be at the QB position.

That said, Blame is not unique to just Romo. Wade Wilson isn't doing crap to help mold Romo and Garrett needs to step up to the plate as well. The day that I see Romo get in one of his guys *** about a bad route as they reconvene the huddle will be the day I start to think that he just might be ready to take it to the next level.

That's certainly just as true, if not moreso. Garrett has been an OC for 32 games, Romo has been a starting QB for 40 games. Anybody who believes Romo will benefit from more experience has to admit he could benefit from a more experienced coordinator.

You guys ever go back to see what you had to say about a player, say, a year ago? Compare it to what you say now, and then next year compare again. It's amazing how much better or worse these guys get from year to year. I used to think players more or less progressed or regressed linearly, but the reality is their ability varies on an order of magnitude that relates generally to overall won/loss record and directly with what happened in last week's game. It's a very complicated mathematical equation, apparently.

Unless, of course, we get hot and win the Superbowl this year. Then we'll all get to enjoy dozens of posts that say stuff like 'my bad' and 'I'm sure glad I was proven wrong!!' You can use the smiley icons to make it clear how much you really mean it. The fan base as a whole will survive the cracks about Cowboy fans being ignorant bandwagoners, so no worries on that front.

By the way, Marion Barber's soft. Who's with me?
