Was watching NFLN and Jane Slater was reporting on the Cowboys and Earl Thomas. She noted the other recently signed deals (re: safeties) and mentioned Thomas is looking for something similar to Landon Collins (per year annually) but that the Cowboys are “looking for him to come down to the $8-9M range.”

This team is all in.
I predict Thomas goes to Cleveland to replace Peppers.

Yep, that's Thomas to Cleveland I'd guess. Interesting moves by the Browns. Aggressive.

They literally are going to add no one in FA that will be able to step in and start in an area where we have a clear hole - DT, S, probably DE, maybe TE (oh wait, we got Witten back).

They really are a dysfunctional front office that overvalues their roster.

No more status quo said Stephen and then goes out in FA and delivers the status quo.

What does it really matter if you sign him for 10 million or 15 million?

Nothing..
Oh, it matters. You have a salary structure for your team. You overpay a safety from outside, every key player on your team that has shed blood for you expects to be overpaid too.
