Maybe it will actually be a blue moon and someone actually trades for one of our players. I bet we could recoup a pick for Colombo.
Just let that settle for awhile...you'll come around.
gimmesix;3336558 said:You seriously want to trade our most intense offensive lineman, one of our emotional leaders, essentially for a guy Baltimore can't motivate to work out and is looking to unload?
burmafrd;3336690 said:Brewster is a huge question mark since he did not even get in one practice session before his injury. There is no way you should count on him this year.

RG: BIGG

LT-Doug Free/Good Question
LG-Kyle Kosier/John Jerry
C-Andre Gurode/Maurkice Pouncey
RG-Leonard Davis/Travis Bright
RT-Marc Colombo/Rob Brewster

VACowboy;3336820 said:If he keeps his nose clean, he has the ability to become a quality LT. I'd definitely snag him in the 4th. I actually had him in my first mock a month and a half or so ago.
Alexander;3336762 said:If we get shut out of the OL in the first round, then I become more interested in moving our second and perhaps another choice for Gaither. I just do not believe the Cowboys would do it.
The main issue again is how committed we are to Doug Free and how much money Gaither would want. If you give up that much in trade and also his future contract, he had better be your left tackle. I do not think he can play guard, so that is another issue. I just do not get how realistic this option is as much as it is hoped for.
BrAinPaiNt;3336833 said:Plus he might be had for a little less during the draft if Baltimore sees someone on the board they really want at the time.
I don't have a problem with a second round pick seeing as we are picking so close to the third anyway.
I guess if you could get a FS or CB you really like in the first and no other decent OT or OGs are available in the 2nd then I see no problem with it.
However like you said he is wanting LT money. I guess you could let him and Free fight it out for the LT spot in camp and maybe Free becomes the starting RT and it works itself out.
who knows but I doubt it happens anyway .
Alexander;3336846 said:From what I can gather, Free has been assured a starting job next year. So we would just pull the rug out from under him and tell him to wait in Colombo?
How can it not be? You don't have to highlight what you want to quote and it is one click of the mouse versus that and hitting ctrl V.MarionBarberThe4th;3336480 said:I know my computer, its not.
