Hard to tell with you lately. I wonder if the Colts fans are as down on their team as some of the people are on this one.
I doubt Colt fans are this upset given they just pocketed a Super Bowl win less than a year ago.
Last time I checked this franchise hasn't won a SB since Jan. 1996.

Which in the grand scheme of things is not that long.

Why aren't more people getting all worked up about how he's being referred to as "well-spoken"? ;)

He is amazingly well spoken for a red head.

This is pretty damn good news.

Regardless if you think Garrett is "teh Truth!11!1oneeleven!11!" or not...

This gives continuity to the offense. And more importantly....its not the third different offensive coordinator in 3 years for Romo.

What's worse is they haven't won a playoff game since Jan. 1997.

Let's be honest, even if it appears like fans are 'reaching' on this being a bit of good news, it is good news....Preserves stability for an already vastly improved offense and insures continuity for the future...This is regardless of whether red becomes the head or not.

First piece of uplifting news in a while...Next to come, I hope, will be JJ signing somewhere else followed by a different Roy Williams (WR) suiting up for the old RW.

If you haven't listened I would suggest you do, only gets you excited about the future. Some of the main things he said:

- Was around for the 90's teams and remembers the feelings of when they started to come around. He said that those teams there was just something special. He said this team reminds him of those teams alot, that something special is happening.

- Told the offensive players not to watch the Gints game tape. Told Marion Barber off to the side to watch the game tape. He said if you ever wanted to know what a football player looked like look at that tape.

- Loves Romo, he's a special guy. Said something to the effect that Romo intimated through some words and I guess actions that what needed to be done would be done. I believe this was at the Monday offense meeting.

Definitely very good listen...

All I can say is:

...whew...

I figured this team would be okay if EITHER Garrett or Sparano left. I think we could have been seriously screwed if both took off. Now Sparano's spot is filled by Houck, and despite the departures in the scouting department I think we'll end up okay. Let's saddle up for the draft, Boys!
