I’ve watched the games, which is why I know the adjustments criticism is so much jumped up nonsense.
I don’t think I’ve heard Aikman suggest Garrett is a bad coach. I’ve seen him criticize specific decisions—as he does with every team. I’ve heard him criticize others on our staff. He pretty clearly laid responsibility at Jerry’s feet during the expiration of Garrrett’s last contract. So I’m not sure your argument is a fair one.
In the New England game it was really clear the Special Teams were a train wreck and Aikman pointedly said so. I may have missed some comments, but as soon as you read this board the comments claimed Aikman was calling out Garrett's coaching rather than OQuinn (though Garrett is obviously ultimately responsible).
Its true for a lot of things in life, people see what they want to see and hear what they want to hear.
