I want these guys to win it all. I would love to see the post game locker room with these guys hoisting the Lombardi. I can't wait for that!!

Well it will be a little with Christmas on Thursday and players likely given the day off.

I doubt they'll have Christmas off. I think they still practice, get guys treatment who need it, but maybe nix any meetings they have.

It's really cool isn't it? I hope people are beginning to understand why the players love the guy and play this hard for him. He's honestly one hell of a great coach.

Yeah, I said it.

...and you said it right!

Maybe so, I had noticed in his locker room speech he mentioned that they would have an altered week with Christmas. That could mean as you said no meetings.

Loved this video. We have higher aspirations and he's showing how good of a coach he can be. Congrats to him and all of us lol

Yup, as expected, that was cool. I noticed Josh Brent in the picture and thought about how thankful he must/should be that he was given a 2nd chance to be part of this family. Or how deeply satisfying this must be for Jerry given the unbelievably long road it has been to get back in position to seriously compete and the flood of criticism he's taken along the way, deserved or not. And then there is Garrett who perhaps stands on the cusp of being viewed as the man to restore the luster of the star, and Romo/Witten who at times were hailed as among the best of their peers but just as often scorned as lacking the character, or intangibles, to be a true champion.

Wow, just wow. JG is a different guy behind closed doors than what he shows at pressers.

Yeah, for the better.

We like to think that with all our connections, all the insiders' input, all the interviews, that we're well-informed about the heart and soul of this team.

Well, we're not, and we never will be, and that's the way it should be. A team deserves its private relationships and internal motivators, and too much of their lives are played out in the public eye. These guys are spilling their guts on the field every week for each other and their families, first and foremost.
They see and hear how fickle fans can be -- folks (some on this forum) who claim that RoMac will always be a quitter, that Hitchens was horrible reach, that Dez will always just be a punk, that Wilcox will never amount to anything, that Hayden/Mincy/Selvie are JAGS, that Romo is a nothing but a loser.....

They keep their core team spirit to themselves because they have to shut out all that crap in order to stay the course.

Soldiers are the same way.

Garrett and this team have come a long way -- together. It's been fun to watch that process.

Wow. I love that speech. I remember in years past it seemed like Dallas was just happy to win the NFC East. It's so great to see them understanding that there's more than that.

Chris Christie is becoming a fixture around the Cowboys. I think he's replaced Rowdy as the team mascot!

Yeah he's spending more time in Texas than here, where he's completely destroying our state. Please keep him

Does anyone still NOT believe in Garrett's coaching and leadership abilities after watching that? Man, that was awesome.

His players have bought into his system 100%, play their butts off, and are now kicking butt while doing so.

Remember all the "Ginger Failure" garbage on this board? I do. And I'm happy to remind all those posters that they were dead wrong about Garrett. Rebuilt the ragged roster he inherited into a young, hungry bunch of fighters who will be a VERY out in the playoffs.

I'm really liking this Garrett guy,,, looks like he's got skillz in managing the mood and mindset of the team which is what I thought Jimmy and Parcell's biggest strength was,,,

It was their biggest strength's they just did it old school. JG does it with room wide respect.
