Dude I love Garrett. I have been preaching patience to everybody i could telling them that his process would eventually pay off. We are seeing the fruits of our labor right before our eyes....

It's really cool isn't it? I hope people are beginning to understand why the players love the guy and play this hard for him. He's honestly one hell of a great coach.

Yeah, I said it.

For this regular season. Other seasons, no. Playoffs, unknown.

He knows how important it is for the team not to settle for just being NFC East champions but more. As much heat that Garrett has taken I have to give him credit for taking this time a lot further than most people had them going with the pre season predictions.

Have you thought much about whether or not there's some level of accomplishment where you'd be willing to concede that JG actually is a good coach?

I bet he had something in mind before the season started, but he has to change the standard now. We've been too successful.

Sorry. Obscure Irvin reference. In the middle of one of those 'my son' rants, he was talking about Dez eating his lunch off of the top of Fletcher's helmet (when he grabbed a ball over Fletcher's head). Ignore me over here.

Perspective.

I get it. We haven't felt this good in 5 years. I myself got caught up in it, and it's good to enjoy, for the moment. Garrett preaches it, so you guys need to practice it.

But please remember. We still haven't done ****, this is the Dallas Cowboys - an organization with a history of success.

Go get two more hats than they've earned the adoration you guys are throwing around.

Oh how the mighty have fallen.

Garrett has a winning record as head coach despite needing to rebuild the team and culture in the process. He's gotten us to the doorstep of the playoffs every year despite the rebuild and an absurd amount of defensive injuries in 2011-13.

And now that we're division champs, he's made the message crystal clear that we are NOT done and that this accomplishment is essentially worthless unless we finish the job. The team's leaders have bought in 100%.

How's that for perspective? :)

Tell me again how the team wins in spite of Jason Garrett.

Tell me again how he had "no process".

Tell me again how he's a Jerry lackey.

I'll be happy to remind you again why you were and still are wrong.

Garrett is a leader of men. He has the most important quality of a head coach nailed down- his team believes in him, his "process", and everything he says. Scheme, philosophy, play calls, etc, mean absolutely nothing if the players haven't bought in. He inspires the players to be the best version of themselves, and they play with one objective- to win games. There's no selfishness, there's no crying about who gets touches, etc.

Garrett's really built the right environment in that locker room. And we now have the talent and supporting coaching staff to execute and win big games.
