Well you butchered that attempt at quoting ...... and I assume you were not watching the team then ..... because Wade admitted that he ran the defense and Garrett was in charge of the offense ........the fix was in the minute Jerry Hired Garrett first and paid him more than Wade.

As far as "butchering the quote", I agree with the first two lines you wrote, no need to list them in the quote.

But you specifically said Garrett got the reins of the FRANCHISE. Not just the offense. FRANCHISE.

Jeebus ......... the minute Garrett was hired he was gonna be coach of the cowboys ....... he was the highest paid and the most important coach in Jerry's mind. If you disagree ....... fine.

Oh no doubt Jerry had his eye on him all along, I just don't think he had as much as impact on the total team at first as you do, no problem we just have a difference in the details, overall we agree...

Most of you might have watched Rudy movie. Is Jason Garrett the Rudy of coaching. Everyone told him he was not good for coaching, but 15 years down the lane winning a SB as an underdog and the team carting off Garrett on their shoulders would be a photo moment for Cowboys fans.


Another bit of trivia: Cowboys could have fired Jason Garrett after 2015 season where Cowboys went 4-12, hired Doug Pederson, draft Carson Wentz by moving up 2 spots and also got Nick Foles as FA. Had Dez in place of Alshon Jeffery, and other free agents and trades such as Ajayi.

Those moves would have changed 2 franchises completely, Eagles dont win a SB and Cowboys would have been on the brink of one.
