Has anyone heard from the Jimmy Johnson about what his thoughts are?

Any video or articles about what he thinks?

I like what I heard from Garrett, but I hope people don't judge him on the remainder of the season, because he has a big problem to solve, and it's not going to be immediately.

The Giants are going to spank the Cowboys...I have no doubts. But, I will be looking at the players and how they are executing, fighting, trying....if not, then that is not Garretts fault...those players need to go.

It's going to be fun the rest of the way, that's for sure.

He definitely handles the local media way better than Wade did.

That's because he's had 7 years previous experience with these coelenterates. He knows how to handle them.

Be afraid Jerry, be very afraid, you've let the genie out of the bottle. You're about to lose control of your team.

That's a *** wonderful thing.

Some of you guys truly amaze you. First you incessantly whine about Jerry first hiring his boy Garrett and undermining Wade, now Wade is the totally hapless cream pie idiot and Jerry better be afraid of Coach Assertive.

I got news for you Jerry is going to let Garrett do whatever works. Don't be surprised if he steps back because he is simply trying not to make matters worse during this transition.

The man who pays his employees doesn't ever have to be afraid of them.

As much as he changes about the process this week, I can't imagine you'll be able to tell a huge difference after just a few days. I'd imagine that the real test of whether this new process is effective will be a few weeks down the line.

I totally agree...it might be after Thanksgiving before we see alot of major differences...he'll need a few weeks to settle in, make some adjustments, adjust personnel and the rotations...Pasqualoni will need time to adjust as well

He'll get buried (underservedly) by fans and the media if we get beaten badly the next few weeks, but I think by seasons end we will see a turn-around, especially if Romo comes back for the last 3 or 4 games.

I dont expect a win this week......I really like to see a great effort....but with Kitna at QB......Im not sure even with our best effort...we can win this game.

I thought Kitna had something left.....but IMHO now....its Brad Johnson 2

It looks like Kitna has some arm strength left but the 3/4 sidearm release and suspect accuracy are killing us.

The guy had not started a real game in two years. Let him get acclimated to the position...him and McGee are all we have right now. Let's cheer them on.

Agreed, but we have seen a lot of passes batted. Hopefully with some more work he gets his accuracy back. But the low release does concern me. If that's how he throws the ball then I don't know we compensate for that unless our line really starts keeping the defensive rush at bay.

BINGO! ;)

That is problem #1 for Garrett to figure out.

Anything...and I do mean ANYTHING is better then Wade. He was the most detrimental aspect of our destroyed culture anround here then just about anyone to work within this franchise.

Lets give Garrett a chance. He is without question an improvement over Wade in a best case scenario and certainly no worse in bad case scenario.

Lets see what he can do before we beat the guy to a pulp.

Doc
I saw this coming when he first got hired, and how Jerry even thought things would end up differently is beyond me. As a fan I am hoping for the best for Garrett, nothing impressed me about Wade's leadership, I always was waiting fo the other shoe to drop with that guy, and it always did.

If the team continues to play uninspired, mistake prone football, and the coaching looks second rate, he'll get buried deservedly.

If they make progress in the aforementioned areas, he won't get buried at all.

I think you are wrong, he will be the coach next year and I hope the next and next because if he is, that will mean that he is successful and the Boys will be also...
Go Garrett and Go Boys..

Charean Williams of the FWST had a real nice little story about the change today under Garrett.

Like others have said, it may be awhile before we see that "tangible" improvement, but based on what I've read and based on his press conferences, I'm optimistic that he's on the right track. He's much more forceful and confident than I expected him to be. I think he's a little more heavy-handed than he normally would be right off the start because he has to reverse some things.

I'm sure the players are uncomfortable right now and that's a good thing. 1-7 is uncomfortable, too.
