sorry but Ceedee better have a Pro bowl Carrer year, like 1350 yards 12 tds and we also win(dez did that 3 straight years to earn his)..they just signed Gallup to big deal and doubt they are in a hurry to pay CD seriously when the last time that happen,

two marquee WR contacts at the same time on the Cowboys?..CD will have to earn it for sure. they like CEEDEE but aren't married to him..maybe a FT etc but CD early demand wont work like Zekes IE exmp see how they had schultz and dak wait.. 5yr 1st round picks unless they are special wont get paid after yr 3..book that no debate CD wont get dpgnat deal that early unless somehow, he becomes elite overnight. Diggs would be the next closest but they arent just hoping to hand these marquee deals out like candy..thats not Stephens thing..just because he caved on zeke no one on this team has yet to catch the Jones attention like that.. Daks deal is now very team friendly so really outside dak no one got an early deal and was a market deal. they will pay hardball.. book it.

Parsons while awesome one season will have to do this 2 more years then yes im paying him early because 3 season like last year that makes him elite, big if..

It will be that much less to carry over into future years. They are counting on the extra carry over cap to be able to re sign most of their players they want to keep. Signing Peters shouldn’t have a huge impact on those plans but it will have some.

the cap will keep going up substanitally...so as long as the %'s don't get whacky to the total amount (aka qb costing 50% of the total cap) then the number going up are fine. Dont focus on the numbers as much as the %'s of the cap space, thats whats important

That scenario is not guaranteed. Covid could come back. Some other disease. You can't count your cap till Commish says you can. Cap went down this year.
