The Cowboys won't sign Peters unless they have a starting LT position for him. Right now they are committed to giving that starting LT position to Tyler Smith. So that's why you haven't seen Peters get signed yet. This is a very fluid situation so things could change. Stand by because anything could happen at this point.
The Cowboys are likely to sign him. It's a good fit. They need him and have the money.

Don’t worry, I’m sure Stephen is “rollin up his sleeves and gettin to work” right now.

No, no, no......the reason this is taking so long is that Jerry had to find and gag his son to make sure he DIDNT get involved.

if he gos to Philly now I will be PISSSSSED

...yep and especially as he could replace Dillard.... all for the sake of the Jones trying to save a million or so, or even worse waiting until Wk2 so that the contract isnt Guaranteed.

This is turning into Randy Gregory ll.....just SIGN Peters and then get a GM.

How hard can this be? He made 1.75 mil for the bears last year. Offer him a quick 2m and get his *** in the building!?

He not going to betray the Eagles for that little of money. Jerry will have to unload a boatload of money to get him.
Eagles just lost an OT so they may be coming to the table with their Philthy mint of gold.

Philly cut him. I doubt this is an issue.

Why would he drive to Dallas?
He is from Queen City, Texas

He only goes back to Philly for a paycheck. They have starting tackles and Dillard will be back soon. So if he wants to start/play he will sign in Dallas. If he wants one last quick payday, he will go back to Philly and possibly released in a few weeks or be inactive

Right, but why would he drive to Dallas if he was retiring? Is Queen City part of Dallas?

The question is will he be better than what we already have? ?? Watch any preseason games?
If he can come in and play as well as he did last year it's a win.
Is there really anyone out there better? Dont really think so.
No team is going to trade away a good LT at the start of the season.
