Better yet, Peters steps in at LT - his best position - and there’s no sliding at all.Yes he has everything to do with losing Tyron, he slides to LG when Tyler slides to LT.

then he doesn't count against your roster & you can bring up a PS OL.Sure but he's constantly getting injured.
Absolutely! He helped Tyler Smith tremendously during his rookie year.If Peters is still physically able then he would be great for depth. His leadership and knowledge is like having an extra OL coach.
Vet min is only like $1M which Im sure he would have at least that amount guaranteed anyway.Probably won't get signed until after week 1 to avoid guaranteed vet min.
We always draft well.Need someone at Oline thinking of Farniok, Ball, and Waleztsko as backup is pretty scary.
Stop with that stuff. When was the last time you saw a slew of post week 1 signings? Not really a thing anymore.Probably won't get signed until after week 1 to avoid guaranteed vet min.
I like everything he brings to the table except the fact that he can't play full games and has a health risk factor,,, which is kind of a biggie. That and being a progress stopper for Asim, Hoffman, Waletzko, et al.No NFL team wants to guarantee the contract of a limited 41 year old offensive lineman. Peters cannot play full games. He needs to be in a rotation. If he's on a roster for the first game, then his salary is guaranteed for the season. The earliest Peters will join any roster is after game 1 is done. And then he'd need a few weeks to get into game shape. I'm not against the idea of bringing Peters back if he's needed. But it won't happen in the next few weeks.
Are we wrong? In before the "you know Tyron will miss games" crowd.
The trade off is if you signed him now, he’d have a few weeks to be in shape and available for week one.No NFL team wants to guarantee the contract of a limited 41 year old offensive lineman. I expected that from Risen, not you ! LolPeters in.
Ball out.
No wisecracks!
Amen.If he wants to lace em up, I would sign him to a reasonable 1-year deal in a heartbeat. I see no downside in having an insurance policy to hedge against a few injuries on the offensive line. He was good enough to not let the game get wrecked last year when he played.
Good teams should always be looking to add cheap, quality veteran depth like this. It is a long season.
