He's going to be playing inside.

At 6'1 240 he'd be killed with his hand on the ground. He's automatically our fastest linebacker. This is a good thing.

I trust Ciskowski in our Scouting Department much more than a Radio Guy plus this guy can blitz from the Outside and hes absolutely wrong because WIlliams was going somewhere in the 3rd Round, so this guy doesn't have a clue about what hes talking about LOL

a radio guy down here in miami said he couldve been had in the 5th

they probably could have gotten him a little later but I can't fault this pick at all.

Per ESPN, Kiper had him as the 19th ranked OLB, and McShea had him as a 7th rounder.

You be the judge...

Compares To: JAMES HARRISON, Pittsburgh -- This is high praise for an unknown player, but the more film scouts watch on Williams, the more they will notice he has the "it" factor. With patient coaching and in the right system, he could turn into one of the better finds in this draft. He plays with excellent field vision and awareness. Williams demonstrates the instincts to quickly track down the ball. He has the change-of-direction agility and lateral movement to string plays wide and hits ballcarriers with force, driving with his legs to push the opponent back through the rush lane

Have to like his speed and he has coverage ability, I'm ok with this pick

Late draft riser. Kiper had already put his feet up on his desk and was combing his hair. Check the tape on him. I doubt Kiper attended some of his workouts as well.

...and Goose had him in the top 100.

Hmmm....Kiper? or Goose? Decisions, decisions.

You can't just brush aside Kiper's analysis because you don't want to hear it. Like it or not, the guy has his head in the draft moreso than probably anybody on earth. He was well-apprised on his rising stock, and he's STILL a 7th rounder. I dunno, I'll wait til I see him to make a determination, but I'm not excited about the pick yet.

Ummm....what about the guys that actually participate in the draft? You know, the guys that actually get paid by NFL teams to make analysis?

Hell, Kiper isn't even in the top five of his outsider profession.

Kiper gets paid quite hansomely for his analysis.

Kiper could get paid by any of the 32 teams right now and do a bang-up job. I hate the guy but to discount his vast wealth of draft knowledge is ********.

Not by an NFL team. His analysis is completely unimportant to anyone in an NFL front office.

He's not even in the top ten in accuracy by outsider analysts. Goose is light years ahead of Kiper as far as what NFL teams are thinking.
