Jason Williams??

His speed is overrated. He'd probably run a 4.60 or higher at the combine, which for a 6'1", 240 lb. linebacker isn't all that impressive (the 4.4 was ran on a gymnasium floor). It's not bad, just not impressive.

The fast gymnasium time was at his Pro Day at WIU, however he recorded similar times at the Northwestern Pro Day.

DuSable product Williams star of show at Northwestern pro day

Western Illinois linebacker Jason Williams created a buzz last week at his school's pro day when he ran the 40-yard dash in 4.46 seconds. Problem was, it was on the school's basketball court and most observers acknowledged you had to add at least one-tenth of a second to his time. So, he showed up at Northwestern's pro day Thursday and did one better, running between 4.42 and 4.48 on a much slower artificial surface in the school's indoor facility. The 2008 Buck Buchanan Award finalist, a DuSable graduate, boosted himself even more for the NFL draft.

It just took me .0000001 second to type this.......based on my hand timer.

That's pretty good.

Unfortunately, it took me longer to edit my post.

Looks slow and stiff to me. Hopefully I'm wrong.

It took Bradie James a couple years to really see the field as a 4th round pick and we are expecting a 3rd round pick who was also injured to light it up year one. Let the guy learn and grow and see where the chips fall.

I hope you're not going by this video...

You understand that's just practice right?

They're going half speed in those drills!

You didn't watch the entire thing did you?

Of course I did....there's no game footage or anything there showing his true speed. I don't know why you're questioning his speed of all things anyway.

This is getting ridiculous.

C'mon guys... too early to label him at this point...

I swear our fanbase is the most impatient bunch in the NFL...

This, it's hilarious to listen to the early "he won't amount to anything". Nobody knows if he will or not to this point, so why make such a quick and baseless judgment?
