Jason Witten: No fight, no altercation, no fractures in the locker room or with TO

Seriously, who gives a crap? That story is so last week. Can we just MOVE ON ALREADY?

Some just cannot stand Werder being outed as the pathetic punk he truly is...

This debate will continue to rage with NO way to reconcile the sides- as they are based on sources we will never hear from and it promotes the negatives these posters live for.

Most political reporters, yes. You'd never see Wade throw a shoe at someone.

I could easily see Werder throwing his pumps at TO though...

It'd sure be fun if he did!

At least he'd show some spunk!

Right, only you think he's lying. Not sure how that works, but whatever..

There are Nixonian lies and white lies. Parents "lie" to their kids all the time, usually to build them up confidence-wise. Jimmy "lied" when he said he was leaving the team voluntarily.

I get your take on this, i really do, I just don't think that because Witten has performed these obvious shows of solidarity for whatever reason...damage control or any other.... I don't think that means he was lying. Everything he said in that report could very well still be true. I choose to take his word over Werder's. You don't

okie dokie

It would be nice to actually discuss our defense for a while. I hear they've been playing well.

Oh yea, I thought I saw a post or two about that wedged between all the *drama* :laugh2:

If we keep dominating on D, people will demand that you change your sig.

I'm just about there already.

I have to give the fat man credit, the defense is really playing well since he took over.

But I can still hate him for not doing it earlier!

No that is not good enough we need drama. :laugh2:

This just in - BREAKING NEWS!!!

Terrell Owens SLAMS Jason Witten in the locker room...... at a game of dominoes!!

How did I do? Do I have a career in Journalism?

TO has forced Witten to lie.

Spears lied. Wade lied. Everyone wearing blue and silver lied.

There was a donnybrook that has WWE on the phone trying to sign huge contracts.

Werder is vindicated.

You're lying. Anyone associated with the team, even as a fan is lying.

TO is the father of all lies.

I don't "want" to believe the negative information, but I'm afraid I do, which doesn't make me correct. First of all, "something" happened or you would have seen uniform, encompassing denials. Most likely, the Cowboys would have asked ESPN, publicly, not to send Werder to cover the team. Truly, unfairly damaged parties do strike back against the media.

Of course, it could have been overblown -- and to some extent, it probably was. But it was almost certainly serious. Romo said he had, what, a 90-minute conversation with Witten? That suggests something serious, and Witten is not so soft as to be bothered by an erroneous report. He was almost certainly bothered by the substance.

Here's what I think: Cowboys fans ought to hope the "sources" Werder cited are never named. In this case, pray Werder is the professional. If so, he will continue to cite anonymous sources.

Best case, the sources weren't players. And there is a fair chance they weren't. But there also is a fair chance they were.

I agree wholeheartedly with those who claim everything to do with the Cowboys is blown out of proportion. But it doesn't mean nothing happened, and it doesn't mean what happened wasn't serious.

Until Jerry Jones demands a retraction and an apology from ESPN, and until he publicly requests Werder not cover the team, I will assume the reports were at least substantially correct, though possibly dramatized.

TO is a better football player than Werder, but he doesn't have as much credibility.

I wish I didn't believe any of that, but I do. Saying otherwise won't change it. And I do believe it will all be in the open eventually, possibly in a future book, and folks will go on the record to confirm.

Nope, now if you said Witten slammed owens you have some thing.
Witten has to be smarter than owens.:)

So what do you have left to rely on now that Witten is denying it? Oh, wait, of course, just call him a liar.

I guess they think that several people against the rest of the forum is equality. Must be the new new math.

Jason Witten on the record.

Says there was no fight, no altercation, or nothing like that. Says it was all overblown. Says there weren't any fractures in the locker room. Says there were no problems between he and TO.

Can we leave it at that?

If TO says it, people question it and ESPN loves to overblow it even more, despite the fact that the New York Football Giants just got their butts absolutely 110% handed to them on a dinner plate two weeks in a row - THATS WHAT THEY SHOULD BE TALKING ABOUT.

But if Jason Witten says it, I'd love to see what ESPN Says about it now. Let's see if they go after Jason Witten the way they've gone after Owens.

Yeah, and the offense has been depressing.
