I agree I'd be embarrassed taking a job I was totally unqualified for, especially one where so many people attach part of their happiness to your performance.
Curious. Why do you call him Plow Boy?If what we all think is gonna happen, does in fact happen, I'd be embarrassed as hell if I was Plow Boy. This is like the owner of a company forcing his do nothing son on some executive, and instructing he/she to show him the ropes....only to have him take your job some day and ultimately fail. Go make your own way in life Plow Boy....you were already handed an announcing gig with ZERO experience, and failed big time....so now you are expecting a fast track to a NFL Head Coaching gig by doing nothing other than coaching a High School Christian School??? Maybe it's just me, but if this does play out, I really would be embarrassed if I were him....have some damn pride. The transparency of this is already being talked about everywhere....and will only get worse.
Whose intent am I misreading? The OP member? Or the member I was responding to? Or both? No, I think you are the one misreading the intent. It’s just an attack on Witten for some reason, which is odd because that usually something that only Eagles fans do…
You do ?Agreed. But it makes total sense if Moore turns the Cowboys down, which I still think he will do.
yet it was Crayton who cost us in 2007, not Romo nor WittenI'm glad I'm not the only one who feels that way. They just never had what it took to win in the postseason and they were perfectly fine with it.

Get him coaching up that D-Line. Teach them the Y-Route pass rush.It would certainly be an appropriate entry level position at Witten's coaching stage into the NFL. Dallas is an atypical franchise though when it comes to hiring coaches.
Hell, I was hoping you'd get an interview. You're right, I'd be embarrassed if it was you, too. As for Witten, why would he be embarrassed? If he gets the opportunity and takes it, good for him. A HC doesn't need to be an Xs and Os guy as much as he needs to be a motivator, carry a big stick, have his pulse on the psyche of the team. Many scheme smart coaches fail, because they don't have the guts that it takes to be a HC. So, yes.....I'd be embarrassed, if I was you.
I went from 7th grade coach to HC-AD in seven months..undefeated my second year and ranked in the top 10 in the state of Texas in year 3 and 4....I was not qualified, but I sure as hell didn't turn down the opportunity....Hell, I was hoping you'd get an interview.
I do. Bear in mind I think this is probably regarded by every coach out there as the least desirable job in the league, and only for the truly desperate. Which Moore would know first hand. And I think he will have better options. Or will bank on having better options soon if he stays in his current spot which very well might include a trip to the SB. That looks pretty darn good on resume. You do ?

That's my guy right there.I went from 7th grade coach to HC-AD in seven months..undefeated my second year and ranked in the top 10 on the state of Texas in year 3 and 4....I was not qualified, but I sure as hell didn't turn down the opportunity....
Of course you would and most of us would too......... but that's b/c such a job would be a fun ride for an average Joe with amazing perks.lol why? I'd take that job.
Have heard or seen him say any? Stop believing everything you hear from the media! If what we all think is gonna happen, does in fact happen, I'd be embarrassed as hell if I was Plow Boy. But we’re seriously not considering Witten right? I just took all of the Witten stuff as nonsense honestly.Of course you would and most of us would too......... but that's b/c such a job would be a fun ride for an average Joe with amazing perks.
However, we wouldn't be looking for football respect from our coaching peers. Witten is in another boat. He needs to earn a job and coaching high school football isn't the ticket. If he was serious, he would be volunteering his time at the Star and learning at the feet of professional coaches. Then maybe if the head coach likes him, he can be an assistant TE coach......and start climbing the coaching ladder. He can't be hired as the heir apparent golden boy. Even Garret who was Jerry's last golden boy hire worked as a QB coach in Miami first.
Jerry's insistence on adding Witten to the staff was apparently one of the reasons MM walked away from contract negotiations. But we’re seriously not considering Witten right? I just took all of the Witten stuff as nonsense honestly.
