He handled it well. They're even calling him J Jeezy. I liked it. Swagalicious. He didn't back down. He didn't tell the reporters anything he didn't want them to know. He basically said it is what it is and if anybody else want some ... come get it.

I don't know if it sad that I understand everything you said or if it means i'm still "young" and "cool". It might be sad lol.

The thing about Jason Garrett is this. As much as he's a robot in press conferences and preaching on about process, he's not that way at all with the team. You can tell the players get a very different Garrett than what we do.

Say what you want, but this team has played hard for him since the day he took over. We've seen bad football, but never quitting football, outside of a Bruce Carter moment here or there. These guys play hard for him, and that is a big deal.

And now with Linehan's tempo to the offense, I really want to see this through with a defensive offseason.

Agree but the baseline I would expect from the coach is for his team to play hard and not quit. I'm still hoping to see something from Garrett that is reason to keep him and reason to be hopeful. I still don't but hope.

Romo said last week, it may be something you see more of this year, him missing a practice now and then. Rather if for a little soreness, or just as precaution, or just a rest. It' something that may continue throughout the season.

I heard Steve Dennis say "I want the 2009 Romo back". How stupid can you be? This is 2014. How can anybody expect him to be like he was 5 years ago? They won't even allow the man to get old. One minute they say "oh, the surgeries, he's getting old, he can't throw the ball down field, he can't escape the pocket, he can't run" (insert whiney voice), Now when they give him rest so he can be at his best like he was against the Rams ... they have a problem with that.

Maybe someone needs to send Steve Dennis the game to watch...Romo, had a very nice scramble and run to pick up a key 1st down. Showed he still can do his houdini impersonation and escape pressure...and there is the 68 yard TD pass to Dez......guess steve missed all of that...

This thread title is so bizarre.

It does not compute.

Cognitive dissonance initiated.

The only similarity between Garrett and Gangster is the letter G.

Another word that starts with G....Ginger.

Get your tin foil out gentlemen...I sniff a conspiracy somewhere.

Sometimes it is fun to talk like that just to annoy people lol.

Funny story. William Shatner once recounted a discussion he had with Edward G Robinson. Shatner asked Robinson about the countless impersonations of his iconic gangster character over the decades, and Robinson said he was shocked by them. He never saw himself as acting the character that way. Shatner admitting to reacting the same way he watched impersonations of him. He never saw himself as pausing every two or three words.
