Jay Ajayi trade to eagles **merged**

We are becoming a lighter version of Cleveland or Miami and the fans continue to be sold on "next year". Now that JJ has the gold jacket, he must think he's amazing and be even more reluctant to hand over the keys.
Amen. Make me sick. Never be a SB in Dallas as long as Jones owns the club. The owners don't forget.

While I generally have agreed with that assessment there's a new variable in the mix now they actually have a quarterback better than they've had since they started calling championships, Super Bowls.

McPuke is gone. This new guy isn't afraid to throw an interception, and when he does it doesn't phase them in the least.
Let's not act like McNabb was garbage his entire career.

No, the Eagles decided they had three 4th round picks and are looking at a guy they just need to get them through this season.

Some of you are acting like the Eagles think they just traded for their Zeke, a guy who they will count on for the next 5 years.

Ajayi is basically a half year rental. If he dies this offseason from bad knees or overuse their hit next year is minimal.
Honestly I think they should have tried to get in on Duane Brown

Yea Wentz is a stud. No denying that.

I just have that feeling that they'll never win.

I don't think we're 'cheap'...I think we're dumb. We overpay certain guys in a BIG way and thus don't have the cap room for moves like this. Just my two cents, but pretty sure I'm right.

They didn't need much cap for Ajai.

All in? Hell its a 4th round pick. It would probably be a good move for the Browns, let alone the Eagles.
Making a move for both these organizations proclaiming they are going all in. Compensation is irrelevant imo at this point. I just think moves by both these orgs were top notch and are announcing we are going for it this year. Just like the Bills bringing in Benjamin.
