Ajayi, Tevin Coleman (1st/2nd round), or Jeremy Langford (3rd round): If any of these three gets selected by Dallas - I am thrilled.

No thanks on Ajayi

I don't like him as much as others, either. I see a big back with great athleticism with a tendency to jump to the outside instead of showing patience. His quickness works at the college level, but you can't do that in the pros and expect an easy 5 yds every time.

Guys like Abdullah, Duke, Langford and Yeldon all have running styles that are more likely to find success in the NFL.

This is my guy personally. Don't get me wrong.. I'd love to have Gurley but I have a feeling that he'll be long gone before we get around to picking in the 1st round. Gordon is good but I'm not sure he's worth a 1st round pick given our other needs. I'll take Ajayi behind our OL all day in the 2nd if he lasts that long.

I haver serious doubts he makes it to our pick in the 2nd........

He has visited the 49ers, Vikings and Jags

I can see everyone of those teams snagging him in round 2.

IMO....I think he ends up in San Diego. Chargers were scouting him hard during the season....and have tried to keep it quiet about their interest.

If Dallas can trade down....and snag him early round 2......then they are getting great value.

From what I read about this guy, I really like. If we could get him in the 2nd it would be great but 3rd (highly doubt it) would be better. I don't even thin he will make it to us by the time we pick in the 2nd.

noticed him back in January. Like him, Tevin Coleman, or Mike Davis. I think Gordon and Gurley are gone by 27.
There may be a possibility that both Gurley, and Gordon may be gone by then you have Arizona, Detroit, and San Diego standing in the way of Dallas drafting either guy anything can happen in the draft as we know. As for Ajayi he is a really good RB, and he could very well be the next RB to replace Murray in 2015 for the RB position this will be an interesting draft because there is plenty of talent options Dallas could choose from if the RB they want is gone by the time they make their selection for one.

I don't care which RB we pick or which round as long as he turns out to be a Pro Bowler.....;)

I also see the Ravens in play for a rb at #26 just before us, Gordon is visiting them as well. Im all for trading back to early rnd 2 and snagging either Coleman or Ajayi and picking up an xtra 3rd.

If you look, my post was clearly referring to Mike Davis.

Interestingly though, they both had just about the same 40 time... which kinda supports my thought that Ajayi is slow with little burst. No thanks to either.

Gordon or Gurley would be great, if they fall that far, but my pet cat is Gordon. I wanted to like Ajayi, being the hometown guy, but watching him reminds me alot of Randle. He is more or less a jack at RB - average to good at everything, but not particularly special at anything and I think that will get exposed with the higher level of competition in the NFL. I'm not a scout; that is simply my humble opinion based on the little I was able to find on youtube.

I like your honesty.

I like Yeldon, but he likes to bounce it outside a lot too.

That's true about the Ravens even though they signed Justin Forsett to a 3yr deal they too will be in play for a RB but keep in mind that they also need a WR after losing Smith to the Niners look for them to possibly draft someone like Green Beckum to fill the void left by Smith's departure and with Newsome's track record for drafting players from his alma mater Alabama look for them to draft Yeldon at RB. This will be a interesting draft to say the least.

you cant just look at 40 times,Murray ran 4.4 but cant out run anybody in the league.some guys play faster in pads and Ajayi and Gordon are guys who play fast on the field.
