How many picks do Mikes normally get over a season and a half? Anthony Hitchens had one pick in four seasons here and had plenty of FA offers. And he wasn't even at Mike half the time.
Actually, he's doing about as well as our DB's in that department...

This system is supposed to be a Seattle knock off, right?

And that is even before Richard showed up.

Still...all the systems this defense is based off of are typically top half in the league in terms of turnovers. This team is just cursed in that regard or we are just very bad at drafting secondary players with ball skills.

IIRC even back to Monte Kiffin, they played a solid mix of zone and man coverage due to Claiborne and Carr being more of man to man corners. Only Scandrick was comfortable in either scheme.

After Mo, Brandon and obviously Kiffin were gone, the Cowboys still played a solid mix of various zone and man coverage.

Smaller sample size in the above link, but in 2017 they had better success when they were in man coverage fwiw.

The years we have played this defensive scheme we have had few turnovers. It is what it is.

We are dead last in the NFL in INTs over the last 5 seasons and 31st in total takeaways.
