I said it in preseason watching him that you're not going to see Jaylon Smith fully healthy until next year....

Passing on legitimate corners/safeties and LBs in the draft has hurt our defense.

If you don't do much in FA, you better make every draft count in the early rounds. If not, it can come back to bite you. Usually the issue is not immediate, but a year or two down the road.

then you have not watched much football. For starters Green was MUCH worse today.

SOUNDS like you take any chance to hate on Jaylon

"Hey guys, Jaylon wasn't the WORST player, he played better than Green who was historically awful!"

Weren't you the guy I argued with before the season started and I even showed you college tape on how Smith couldn't read an offense to save his life?

Wilson etc are healthy but this moronic coaching staff keeps trotting Jaylon out there.

He is out of position or misses the tackle every time.

I do not believe this team could win a single game in which Jaylon plays 75%+ of the snaps. The defense becomes an absolute sieve the second he steps on the field for anything more than a spot A gap pass rush (see Rams, Packers, and now Falcons games).

Hard to watch Chas Green and say Jaylon is the worst football player I've seen.
He can’t even run.

Whatsoever.

I’ve never witnessed anything like it in professional football.

But Dallas takes a flyer on him at the top of the 2nd round. Jeepers.

I’m still not over that draft pick. I literally flew out of my chair when they announced his name.

But he totally has a "life motto" and corresponding celebratory move, so that's gotta count for something, right guys?!?!?

How in the world could anyone get enjoyment out of hating on a guy attempting to comeback from a horrific career-threatening injury? No one (or at least almost no one) enjoys bashing on a guy in that situation.

However, he is the worst player in the entire NFL. It's more than acceptable to be frustrated that he is allowed to step on a football field for your favorite team. He is awful at this point in time.
You loved Romo, too. Go home to your losers.

Man it sucks, this is not about his injury, the guy has no clue how to play LB at all. Never seen anything like it. It makes me sick, good kid horrible football player

He's not processing the plays and he's just reacting. Not good for his development.

Then maybe with time the knee will heal more and inform the head. Those medical pros who said all Smith can hope for was 80% healing may have been right.
I think he is still worrying about the injury and iys affecting his game play. He seems to avoid contact in close quarters

How does look like he has never played the game before? I mean holly heck, he is so lost out there its sad to watch.

After all the (self-)hype and the expense and draft pick and never ending rehab THEY HAVE TO TROT HIM OUT. One more reason why the coaching staff is an embarrassment. And while we are at it, keep trotting out the overhyped China doll Sean Lee. He's been a real help in between rehabs.
